@keneda Thank you for your reply. I tried it also with the download folder from ubuntu touch. It has the same affect. The download folder becomes a new owner and group: 1023:1023 and the host (ubuntu touch) has no write access any more. I can only read the files. But apps in waydroid have read and write access. After reboot i must make all steps again. Ok, i could make a upstart script for that. For now i installed a samba server on ubuntu touch and have now access to the shared folders in waydroid. Thanks @chris for the link to the MS page about use of other authenticator apps instead of the MS app. But from what I understood from our IT department, it's like @dobey wrote and they'll not allow other apps. Hopefully, there will still be other apps or methods working. Or I'll try MS Authenticator in Waydroid.

@aarontheissueguy Like ubports installer let you install on any device, even not supported, "at your own risk", there shouldn't be a limitation here one your app, if warnings are clear enough and misclick not possible, only user should be responsible of what he does on his device.

On my OnePlus 5T, I can now install Waydroid using the Waydroid helper app and it seems to work fine. Thanks for making this happen @Flohack , I will now start messing with it to see what Waydroid already can do on this device

As of todays Devel update the OP5/5t can now also be added to the list thanks to @flohack for the kernal patches.

I don't think Nexus 5 is capable of running Waydroid. It needs a port that is based on Halium 9 or 10 to run.

@migue5862 Waydroid doesn't work with anything under Halium 9 (the abstraction layer that talks to the android bits of your phone) and given your error, my guess is you're stuck with anbox. Check your phone under settings/ about /os- in device version description u should see sth like that "userdebug-9.1.". If it's 5 or 7, anbox is the way, unless there's a halium-dev channel for your device that runs halium 9. Anbox is not supported anymore, but it's still able to run a few things. You better be command-line savvy though, because it's a pain to install, manage and uninstall.

@saveurlinux hum, maybe I'm wrong. I cas see that application folder have changed, maybe it is the reason ? it use to be for exemple with firefox: org.mozilla.firefox.desktop and now it is: waydroid.org.mozilla.firefox.desktop
