@unisuperbox is there anything stopping us from using OTA-16.x system? I understand the thought process behind the idea, however, if we are to switch to a system like this, maybe have it as OTA-x.16 to indicate which OTA it is and the LTS version after that? I feel that would allow easier distinction between the OTAs and not pose a potential issue with the current OTA system as it would work to make it think its a major version change, with the same minor version, just my $0.02

@totalsonic the source code is on gitlab, added 4 days ago so it looks like you'll be able to interface with InfiniTime sometime in the not to distant future! on the forum it says "Sync firmware" works, but it also says "sync battery" which just means the app displays the battery, so i cant with confidence assume that that means that you can update the watch with the app currently or any time in the near future. https://gitlab.com/jiiho/uwatch

Well, there are a few ISAs (Instruction Set Architectures) supported by Android. They are armv8 (aarch64 or arm64), armv7 (armhf), and x86_64 (amd64). Every SoC does not have a completely different instruction set. Whatever you read has no idea what they're talking about I guess, or you did not understand it properly. We also do not use VMs or ART for the Android portions we need.

@andybleaden This worked for me as well. Guess I will have to manually switch back and forth from headphones to Line out until a fix is put out. Thanks!

@sam-strelitz Getting some piece of FOSS software compiled and starting on a phone is trivial. Making it useful on a phone is not. The difference is phones have limited battery and limited connectivity, and aren't designed to be in active use 24/7. And traditional apps made for traditional PCs don't tend to take such things into consideration, or are they designed to work with touch input or scale properly on a small screen that is 300-600 DPI. I can see that you are quite excited, but if you are expecting your phone experience to be like you are used to having on a PC, you are going to be woefully disappointed (either because that isn't what you get, or because when you do get that it will be a horrible experience).

Hi @saveurlinux Alfred made it possible to create one for Halium 9 ports. For more details see: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/4954/testing-nfc-for-halium-9-ports I don't think there already is an existing app you can use out of the box. But it's worth checking.

@keneda Not sure if that's the same person, but the port I remember using was maintained by tassadar (the MultiROM author).

@yelpare3 If your Nexus 5 Wi-Fi connection is not stable or won't connect at all, there's a few things you can do: toggle Airplane Mode on and off, forget and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network, toggle mobile data on and off, or reboot your phone.

This topic is done now and I for one do not want to rerun the discussion again. @Flohack last comment above closes the topic so I will now lock this thread. It will still be here for reference. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
