Thank you for all of your replies. I understand how this must have been mentioned before. But without somebody being a naggy bi*** things will never speed up Sure, a web browser would let me control all my finances, but to get in I would have to log in with secure identification. That is what we have bankid for. Without it, I have to use a code generator provided from my bank. This is easily forgotten when you leave the house, and easily lost. Bankid follows the sim card actually, so even if I swap between android devices (probably iphones too, I've just never tried one) I still can log into my account, from laptop, mobile browser or whatever. So it's not a lack of a bankapp that bothers me. And since it follows the sim I would guess it to be plausible and not something I would need Anbox for. I work with radioactive isotopes and I'm mostly confined in a bunker, with shitty cell reseption. Wifi is great though, so voWiFi is an absolute must for me. But I suppose one would have to lobby the cellphone companies to get them to develop it for UT?

@doniks On PC, Firefox, When you clic in the right search field, there is a tool icon that appear, clic on it so you end up on this advanced search page : https://forums.ubports.com/search Or you can clic the left search icon. There you can search whole or part of the forum. But no way to search specifically only in one thread.

@mystic-x I have a spare one and it's a quite small smartphone for its screen size.

Additionally, while I also like the port for the Nexus 6P, it was released in 2015 and is therefore more than five years old. I also can't speak for the reliability of SMS and phone calls as it's not my daily driver. If you want a new device the Volla phone ($450) might be worth looking into?

Hi and welcome @vger1 To start developing you should consider installing clickable and following the documentation there: https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/appdev/index.html

Yes on eBay as it not only would be easy for me, but also might get UBports a bit more visible to others. Will look at the other options again and perhaps reconsider.

@peter-gamma I thought I had said all I needed to on this already (please see my comments above)but......So, please stop pushing Veracrypt and if and when you solve FDE on UT please come back and tell us how. Until then count this as a friendly warning and stop. This was not your thread to start with, it's never a good idea to hijack a thread and those with more skill and knowledge (and I don't include myself in that) have already explained it is not currently possible. Thanks

@mrlen well it spits out a lot of information, but the critical one is a valid logintude/latitude after the GPS got a fix. If that never appears, only guess it that the antenna has issues. But in general your location backend works, otherwise the NMEA messages would not show up there.

@domubpkm said in Please vote on all OpenStore apps that you install on UT!: @opolork Right, you can also use an Ubuntu One account ! But we must have an account (Github or Gitlab or Ubuntu One as you said) which is the mandatory bridge to review an app. Unfortunately that means I shall not be leaving any comments.

@flohack yes that's sad. On the other side Postmarket always said that their goal is to run vanilla Linux (https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Mainlining) so I'm not surprised they are putting their resources there and not on Halium.
