@markalexa If I have it right the original Canonical Ubuntu Touch was based on 15.04. Which was the starting point for everything. As that came to an end and UBports came into existence it became apparent that 15.04 was to old, updates would end, security was becoming outdated. Thats why the move to 16.04 was required. When that is completed UBports Ubuntu Touch will have a secure long term base to move forward on and regular OTA's, and other updates will follow. 16.04 is apparently a very different beast to 15.04 (I'm no developer so can't speak personally ) which is why things are taking time to make sure all is OK before release.

Well we eventually will need some "what data do we store?" for the forum and the homepage. Already working on that

@unisuperbox using PERT is okay for me too, use the tool you're more comfortably with. About the conclusion, I agree with what you say basically. In my opinion the majority of users want to know at least the goals for the current year and where they can follow the progress. A minority of them are also interested in who is doing what. That information is available already but users want to get the full picture at a glance, not spending time digging Github repos and the like

That is a given, for those in the know. But I thought it should be mentioned, since the OP mentions Firefox v60 in the post's title.

This sounds like the same setup WhatsApp has in place. Therr is a web version, butnyou need to scan a qr code with the (Android or iOS) appeared on your device to log in. That would mean you'd need to have the WeChat appeared installed in a compatible device to bring able to work with the web version.

@neothethird said in OnePlus One, are all 100% functional?: Wait, you seem to have something mixed up here. At the moment, only the Oneplus One is supported, no other device from the Oneplus lineup. The Oneplus 6 does not yet work with Ubuntu Touch! Was just checking, That's what I thought, just 1+1, I bought a used 1+1 off ebay and downloaded Installer.

The milestone 16.04 Backlog lists 9 rather specific issues. Is this a representative picture of the work needed to get 16.04 released or are there more big (or small) construction sites? Will the next release be with 16.04? Will it be based on Halium? (my feeling is that 16.04 AND Halium would be a jump up the stairs but curious to hear your plans)

@lduboeuf Yeah! Apple worked hard to create that nonsense app ring-fence, and Android worked even harder to catch up. And now it's so deep-rooted in people's minds.

Okay. Rewrote it in python. Its called the same way as before. Issues containing "Weblate" in the title are filtered out. Now really only the issues that have been closed since the date given should show up. Changelog since 1st of may can be found here: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/QxMp9QSvbP/. I did only one test run, so please find bugs here: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/692fKNSMsw/

@tominto have you read the tutorial I linked above (https://ubports.com/blog/ubports-blog-1/post/logviewer-102)? There is the answer to your question and, more important, how to generate proper logs.

@advocatux Indeed, the budget is not comparable. However I like the community approach. Unfortunaltey I've sold my professional video equipment. Othervise I would offer to record sessions at the next event. But I think a half professional recording would also be ok for Youtube. If the speakers offer their slides it would be easy to add an audio overlay. I could help at the next conference.

@ukphil from what I know, each app on UT has to send the metrics to the lock screen. So, the lock screen doesn't collect message counts across devices. i.e. When you press send on the device, it probably says to update the count somewhere in the Telegram-app code, rather than the data being pulled from the telegram server, which I'm not sure even counts your messages.
