@earlybird Try a different usb port and or cable. Start the installer first then connect your nexus 5 and see if that helps get 15.04 on your device.
Theres also the welcome and install group https://t.me/WelcomePlus
If the above does not work. We should be able to get 15.04 on your nexus before 16.04 stable comes out soon.

@lakotaubp Thank you for your reply.
I was able to reinstall OpenStore easily using the instructions from https://open-store.io/about
and I was hoping to avoid the reflash so I will try your toggle suggestion and switch to the dev channel and reflash as a last resort. Cheers.
@ellypsis yes don't worry, there's even more (v.g. http://ubuntutouch.org/). All good.
I believe the idea is to have separate domains for community activities, and for foundation activities, but they are kind of mix currently.
@stropbu OK you can just download the installer and try it yourself, and I will try and help from here or I will get one of the install team to help from here. You can also use matrix and IRC bridge to contact ubports. Sorry but can't remember the links just now as only have phone at present.
Also look up ubports docs and instructions are there also.
Of course you can keep the old Ubuntu touch, but it is not supported at all now so your situation will not improve.
