@kugiigi ah! Keen eye. I assumed it was set to automatic, but it was indeed set to manual. I've reset back to auto and am now able to see the different channels, so I am checking for updates. I'll report back once it finishes spinning

@k.eleni There's really no pipeline. It highly depends on individuals who have the device and willing to do the work and risk their device for bricking. So far, there's not much good history for both Samsung and Pixels. Pixel 3a has a good port but I think it won't even get VoLTE because of some issues with it stack being too old. I don't know if there's any Samsung port that is good. The safer bets are the Fairphones and Volla phones. Also not that I'm pushing away, if your concern is privacy then maybe Android ROMs like GraphineOS would suffice?

Hi Tim, How much experience do you have? If this is your first time porting to a device, then I would suggest to begin using halium-13 first. I work on my first port (another Lenovo tablet), too, and it took me a long time to just get the kernel booting. The Andorid version begins to matter when the device boots so far that you can ssh into it. At that point you can worry about integrating halium 14. On the other hand, if you are experienced with porting then follow the advice to ask on the telegram channel how to base your port on halium 14 from the beginning. Kai

@musicologist you can also try MirVNCServer App, connect with vnc client from PC and record it there. But I am not sure about audio...

@kugiigi Thaaaanks!!! The reset button in the tweak tool did the trick. I did change the edge sensitivity when I was docked so maybe I accidentally change some scaling too.

Well that was a special level of hell... But, just as OP stated, using opodecrypt worked. For those with a Metro N100, you can just use this to flash to the global firmware. It is already patched: https://mega.nz/file/8fhxkQoR#Yt1ZFJMXsY-wuQIhQ7ar8M_E6PN6wB9NixdPYtWzCQA If you are using a T-mobile N100, you will still need to follow the guide here if it is still locked (T-mobile unlocked devices if requested at the time): The AT&T N100 (very hard to find) came unlocked and is the global model. https://xdaforums.com/t/flash-global-rom-to-tmobile-metro-w-locked-bootloader.4387517/ You do not need to contact OnePlus for an unlock pin. Converting to the global firmware will allow you to unlock the device. You do have to use the patched msmDownloadtool to do it, or patch it yourself as described above Once you have it flashed to global, unlock the bootloader, then on reboot enable developer options and use the UT installer. I set the options to repartition as OP did, and it failed. Retried without the partitions option and it worked - with the caveat that I had to run the installer multiple times because the connection to the server kept dropping. That might not happen to you. Also, the UT installer will error out with a message about setting slot A or B, and an error about the filesystem - hit ignore both times and it will still flash the device. Once again, it may take multiple tries to achieve success. But, when it boots, everything works, except VoLTE which I am troubleshooting. Also, it does not work with a Verizon sim out of the box, but does with T-mobile.

Welcome! If you're interested in using Ubuntu Touch, I'd say the best bet is to read around the forums a bunch to see if Ubuntu Touch will fit your needs, and if so which device from the Devices list will suit your needs and try to find one that's available and affordable where you are.
