Wish list : which apps do you need?

Also, it would be amazing if someone could port KDE connect (or GSConnect).

There is a Kirigami version for Plasma Mobile. Needs a newer qt version though.
-
Zoho mail and writer would be awesome. They have linux builds and are designed as responsive web apps. Their websites by conrtast make awful web apps
-
@marlboro50 yup. agree!
-
-
speach to text app. Or alternatively would be awesome to have a extra button to hold down on keyboard for speach to text while typing.
-
chess.com app (there is a webapp for it, but doesnt seem to work for most ppl)
-
screen recording app. I'd love to record my screen while playing chess e.q. or just to make videos to show to my friends how UT looks like and all the things it can do. And maybe post some UT related videos in youtube/lbry.
I think thats all I need, the rest of apps that I'm missing are under developement or at beta state, so I belive those will be around soon enough.

I would appreciate to have Dekko fully functional or to have an official mail client.

Not just you, everyone.. ... but we can hope that (The new) anbox on some smartphones will maybe provide a workaround by allowing mail clients to be installed. But this solution will only be fully useful if there is a gateway to receive email notifications directly on the smartphone, which I don't know @Xray2000
-
@domubpkm Normoly this should be no problem.
-
I would be happy about an app/ script being able to transfer (via USB) my phone's GPS-data/ stream to my laptop. So I could use my NAVIT-installation on the laptop (big map!) with my phone's GPS-stream...
Still dreaming... -
I'd like to have
a music app with equalizer
a fm radio app
a covid pass app -
@odo said in Wish list : which apps do you need?:
a fm radio app
I guess this is probably unlikely, due to how manufacturers implement FM support (or more often, do not). See https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-phone/msg17256.html for example.
-
I think import/export data app would be very usefull.
-
There are many wishes, it is good to dream and so much the better if some of them can be satisfied.
But personally, I still stick to the basics for a use in normal conditions, namely when stability is not present :- MMS and calls in transmission/reception reliable.
- removal of memory leaks to avoid crashes and thus allow reliable simultaneous use of several apps.
And of course when possible :
- hardware acceleration and webgl support as soon as possible.
About apps :
- a more efficient dekko.
- and i will be happy when flas and InstantPho will work again.
-
A weather app like the iOS app, Radar Scope.
-
I would love a Wireless spouler printing app as well as a GPS altimeter (I practice mountaineering and high mountain hiking)
-
@stanwood Please forgive the public message, I can not see how to send a private one. Do you use your UT phone for navigation off road?
-
@cliffcoggin
To complete and close the OT this is how to do it.You click on the user's icon to see their profile.
There you click on the blue icon with 3 vertical dots.
In the menu choose the first (I think) entry that says "Start to chat with XXX"That should do the trick.
-
@cliffcoggin Yes I guess so (?) Using PureMaps
-
Freetube would be pretty cool
-
The Open Store desperately needs a good American sports app
