No. Only the fastboot mode is needed with the
UBports installer

release 3.2.2 by OpenStore app, it's ok now.

Reversing an app update via the online Openstore is of course usually possible if the faulty update didn't break the system. It is not a new thing. What is surprising is that an update can be released while it seems not to work on any smartphone (non-device specific malfunction) !

On Volla 22, i get a black screen when opening this update.

@peat_psuwit Volla 22: not related to this last RC, but I note that quite often, you have to start the smartphone twice for it to detect the SIM card and offer to enter the PIN code.

For example, after the update, I had to restart the volla 22 again for the SIM card to be detected.

@jojumaxx As a non-developer user, I have 10 years of frustration with UT smartphones, and for developers it is the same I am sure ! And it is currently amplified by the absence of a powerful browser. But I still use UT passionately. We are approaching Noël, we will see if there is a miracle.

No particular problem to reflash Volla 22 UT for me using Ubuntu 20.04. Just make sure you have a good internet connection and a proven USB cable.

@kristatos I contacted TheKit (volla team) : if i understood well, it is currently No for the Volla (halium 9), Yes for the Volla 23, Yes for the Volla 22 (halium 12), maybe for the Volla 22 (halium 11).

@arubislander I never understood why you can't share text files on the forum! I think this evolution needs to happen.
