@sixwheeledbeast I guess what I was pointing more toward is that there are situations or people that need a more predictable control panel. To be clear, I like the panel and the one hand scrolling. Its gorgeous to look at and most of the time its convenient. But it does mean that it is not good in emergencies. For example: say I urgently need to: Turn on wifi. I know to flick down just right of the camera notch, and the toggle is reliably about halfway down the page. access system settings. I try to flick down from the right top corner but what page I land on is a bit of a lottery. I then need to scroll to adust the pagu before I can do what I need. It is even worse for the items to the far left on the menu.

@nbdynl Directly donating money is always an option but I did try this last year and I got very little engagement from the community. I had asked for a 'promise to donate' rather than sending the money to anyone so there was effectively no risk for the donors as they would donate to the winner directly. When I asked for people to dedicate time or effort to create a reward (images, logos, etc), I got much more engagement. This is great but it can't scale well if you want to get more than 5 people contributing to the reward.

@kugiigi Hello So I dont have another phone with display out so I cant test that unfortunately. I do agree that the hub seems to be what determines what issues I have. I dont have major issues using any hubs with my asus laptop to charge and display out and the laptop draws more power than the phone. What hub do you use?

Wow thats fantastic news! I am really grateful that I could help TELEports to become a strong App in this ecosystem... Nevertheless it is an effort that needs continuous contribution. And I cannot do so much (at the moment) for TELEports. I would be glad if one or two more people could help co-maintaining it, especillay for the larger Telegram/tdlib upgrade stories that are always a struggle.

PRIZES It will be a bit of a challenge to organise prizes as the community to spread out across the world and not everyone is able to contribute in the same way. For this reason, I think it would be good to keep it open to suggestions and anyone can put an offer on the table. Some ideas: offer to tip the winner on their librepay account if you are an artist, offer to design a logo for their app offer to translate their app to your language offer to write a profile page for the winners to go on the UT website (Like an interview about the developer) offer to write a review of the winners app (like a show case page on the UT website)

@RJDan provide us with important applications that can be easily installed (one-click in the store), are safe (not random code from a random stranger with a random license), and have all the essential functionalities. I am willing to pay some money, let's say for fully functional Firefox, fully functional MS Teams, Slack, Spotify,... but mainly, they should not be outdated or unupdated, and the microphone, camera, keyboard, and clipboard should work. I know it sounds like a lot, but theoretically, it could just be an integration of Snap/Flatpak into the store. but that no bug bounty, that is more like fundraising

@k.nacke Sorry, there were snap connections that I had not set, so git-confined could not access the ssh keys. I have corrected it now and it works. I have successfully cloned the docs repo.

@kugiigi Thaaaanks!!! The reset button in the tweak tool did the trick. I did change the edge sensitivity when I was docked so maybe I accidentally change some scaling too.

@Keneda So side-loading the xenial apps did work. They start up fine but I have not had a chance to figure out how to get them to connect to my server running torrent yet. It looks promising though.

@RJDan I don't know about a gui, but dd is preinstalled in every linux system so you can try that. There is also the ISODrive UT app which could work for you, but it doesn't do exactly ehat you want.
