@k.eleni There's really no pipeline. It highly depends on individuals who have the device and willing to do the work and risk their device for bricking. So far, there's not much good history for both Samsung and Pixels. Pixel 3a has a good port but I think it won't even get VoLTE because of some issues with it stack being too old. I don't know if there's any Samsung port that is good. The safer bets are the Fairphones and Volla phones. Also not that I'm pushing away, if your concern is privacy then maybe Android ROMs like GraphineOS would suffice?

@th3ass3t Latest update is indeed OTA-9 on Focal (20.04) Perhaps the last update was just wrong. Sometimes system date and time is wrong after a reboot, at least until it resyncs to the correct one.

Hello, I'm trying out UT for a blog post and, thanks to some contributors here on the forum, have just discovered that I've spent the last week testing out stuff on the Beta channel of Noble, with quite a few frustrations. I see now that there is a small print link underneath the channel drop down menu in the installer that links to this informative page (https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/about/process/release-schedule.html) but I fear a lot of new users may read past that and trust that the default selection ('24.4 daily' in this case) is the best one. Additional to that, very non-tech users may not even fully understand the release schedule page descriptors. I would therefore like to suggest that the latest stable mode should always be in the default position in the drop down menu in the UBPorts installer, especially as the installer is meant to give access to more people.

@Simmonz this is the fix @TotalSonic is referring to (kind of) https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/qtmir/-/merge_requests/92 once this is upstreamed firefox and by extension LibreWolf will be able to use wayland directly. once its upstreamed I'm also planning on releasing my freetube port.
