Ubports installer allow to flash any device with any software, and it is like that on purpose. Some people that want récent hardware with UT on it don't have the money to afford a 450€ V22. Any Volla 22 is a Gigaset GS5 with specific skin, specific codename, and specific partitioning. I bought GS5 Lite phones (running Android) for almost all my family, those are GS5 less glossy and more cheap (170€), and are very good devices for very good price, made in Germany.

@Pingu ....it should be no problem, to go back to VOS11 via SP Flashtool and after via Ubports installer to UT 20.04 Focal (the follow the screen)

Do you use UT via VollaBootManager from SD Card ? I had no problems with installing Waydroid via Waydroid Helper App a few days ago (Focal 20.04 Stable , Waydroid LineageOS Androoid 11)....You could install Waydroid also via Terminal

@lduboeuf Problems solved on the Volla with UT doing an update. On my one with dual boot, there are no updates available now through the Vollaboot loader and the phone continues to not ring with incoming calls

@chris_bavaria I use SIM1 only for cellular-data and SIM2 for calls/messaging. Because of the slow activation of the cards (SIM1 is ready maybe 10 seconds later than SIM2), mostly SIM2 is switched to be the cellular-data card. That's really annoying.

Problem Solved I noticed that there was a 28th of December update on Volla OS so done the update After that I wiped the SD card and done a fresh install of Ubuntu Touch 20.04 And it's working fine

@MV I don't have a Volla X23, but the scaling probably works similar on most devices. The steps in the question are maybe already the solution for you: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/9317/how-can-i-change-scaling-on-20-04-focal-without-ut-tweak-tool-and-without-reboot ... These devices (and maybe other devices) set the scaling in /etc/deviceinfo/devices/halium.yaml. In this file I changed "GridUnit" to a more convenient value (i.e. 28 on FP3 and 18 on Lenovo). To make these changes take effect it is not sufficient to just restart Lomiri with systemctl --user restart lomiri-full-greeter.service. You'll have to reboot the device...

@Idcrafter Multi Boot runs very well on a Volla Phone 22 - if the VOLLA OS 11.1 version of 17.10.2022 is used (was delivered with this version in October 2023). And yes there are updates to newer versions (Volla OS 11.1 from 11.01.2023 and 16.06.2023). But I am not sure if these versions are suitable for Multi Boot. AND CAUTION: With Volla OS 12.x no Multi Boot is currently possible. Volla is working on it. For perspective see https://volla.online/en/blog/files/november-update-23.html. The additional operating systems are stored on an SD card with an (automatically generated) boot manager. The SD cards can be changed (and therefore also copied) without any disadvantages. Volla OS accesses the boot manager of the SD card and starts the additional operating systems from the SD card. The installation of Volla OS 11.1 is possible with UBports. Stand-alone installations such as Ubuntu Touch are overwritten. When installing Volla OS with UBports, all initializations and user data will be lost!

A quick update. My battery drained fast because at night I placed it on my wallet. One of the cash cards has some "i tag" tracking nonsense on it an when the phone is close enough it searches for the i tag url or something. It basically searches all night. . . . so in this morning its down to 10%. Seperating them sorts it . . .
