@deviance The black screen means you are at the bootloader aka in fastboot mode. Used ADB reboot bootloader and then use fastboot devices and it should show it connected. Use Google Chrome Android recovery to install stock ROM, it is the quickest and easiest way.

It works and a user doesn't have to re-login just like with Morph-based webapps. Again, it's not yet usable as a browser but for single use I believe one can tolerate. @arubislander Thanks a lot! I solved the problem with your comments. In Additional, the value of policy_version in *.apparmor should also change to 16.04, and X-Lomiri-Touch in *.desktop.in should change to X-Ubuntu-Touch.
