@BarrickBeau I do not know much about Libertine, but libqt5gui5t64 is mentioned in a recent merge request, so this will maybe be fixed with: https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/libertine/-/merge_requests/147 So as an end user, you will probably have to wait for the next system update.

A puzzling issue is that when I see the prompt 'waydroid is stopped' in the UT command line, Waydroid is actually running, and operations within its system GUI appear to be functioning normally.

@deviance The black screen means you are at the bootloader aka in fastboot mode. Used ADB reboot bootloader and then use fastboot devices and it should show it connected. Use Google Chrome Android recovery to install stock ROM, it is the quickest and easiest way.

@ubuntumale I configured proton VPN without 'VPN editor' app, just with the option of VPN Configuration, in a Volla X Focal . It works.

@anybodybutme Axolotl is in heavy development at the moment, and I don`t think it is yet ready to use. You can have a look in this thread: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/8983/signal-axolotl-status-in-2023/8?_=1689196821357 or inform yourself on the telegram group: https://t.me/axolotl_dev

@TotalSonic said in Wire for messaging: I am the one that posted the current webapp in the Open Store for Wire, but unfortunately I don't have any coding skills, I just used Webapp Creator to link to Wire's web version and to change the user agent to allow logins on the older version (pre-OTA13) of Morph. What the webapp could really use is someone that knows how to work with css to make the page display nicely on phone form factors, as well as someone that can make sure the user agent and cookies are working properly to allow logins to be remembered. It would be really great if Wire could be made to work better with UT - given that they are one of the few encrypted messaging services to provide a web based option seems to me it just needs a good webapp developer to make it happen. I would be glad to contribute to any bounty given towards making it worth the time of a coder for this. Best regards, Steve Berson @magdesign said in Wire for messaging: Hi Steve How hard is it to adjust the css ? I can ask my wife, she is pretty good at it, but where would I find the code to do so. I am still confused on how to create and test webapps for Ubports. BTW, just figured out that the "I need to re-login and it tells me the I am already logged in in another tab" issue comes from wire, since I have the same message in Brave browser on Linux. About a bounty program, I am in with 50.-- Euro (should we make a bounty program in the OpenStore @AppLee said in Wire for messaging: @magdesign said in Wire for messaging: should we make a bounty program in the OpenStore Hi, if I'm correct this idea was answered in an older Q&A. Maintaining such feature within the OpenStore is something we're not ready to do. There are solutions out there, so I guess it will be best to look out for those solutions and see how dev react. You can post the link to those bounties in the forum, but the foundation is not involved in any financial transaction between the community and developers. Good news! Wire Messaging and other webapps that don't work with the standard QtWebEngine-based browsers work with Crimson Browser, which is still in its early stages of development, as it still has buttons that don't work for it to be a daily browser but I am already using it for messaging vs with the Wire UT app which uses the standard Morph. It works and a user doesn't have to re-login just like with Morph-based webapps. Again, it's not yet usable as a browser but for single use I believe one can tolerate. This seems to be a general problem with IPv6 access to cloudflare CDN from my location. Same things happens e.g. for linux.die.net, too $ wget -6 https://linux.die.net -O/dev/null --2023-07-12 11:16:32-- https://linux.die.net/ Resolving linux.die.net (linux.die.net)... 2606:4700:20::ac43:45bb, 2606:4700:20::681a:5e, 2606:4700:20::681a:15e Connecting to linux.die.net (linux.die.net)|2606:4700:20::ac43:45bb|:443... connected. GnuTLS: Error in the pull function. Unable to establish SSL connection. both system-image.ubports.com and linux.die.net appear to be hosted via cloudflare CDN.

@arubislander Thanks a lot! I solved the problem with your comments. In Additional, the value of policy_version in *.apparmor should also change to 16.04, and X-Lomiri-Touch in *.desktop.in should change to X-Ubuntu-Touch.

Purple stars is one thing. But what counts is to have a very good focal. And the path seems strewn with pitfalls.

@Moem said in General GPS Query: Ubuntu Touch (that's what the OS is now called) Yes, Ubuntu Touch, haha. The phone thing got stuck as I used to read about it when it was still with Canonical. @Moem said in General GPS Query: most definitely does not use A-GPS. If that's a worry you have, I would say that's a reasonable thing to worry about but you can stop now. Whew! Thank you for confirming. I couldn't see it in the code either. Not using A-GPS is definitely privacy freedom.

@kristatos said in Why won't browsers on ubuntu touch 20.04 play videos from vimeo?: If I remember right, it's a know bug for 20.04 OTA-1 devices that video playback isn't working correct (even for youtube) Im using the FP4 with 20.04 devel and yewtu.be doesnt work, which leads me to beleive that codex are still a problem on current ubuntu touch 20.04 images.

@dln949 Unfortunately, there are only a few that actually implements proper notification. Only TELEports, Fluffychat, Telegram webapp that explicitly says it does supports it,and Dekko are the ones that I know. Web notifications are not yet supported so most webapps won't even have notifications even if you let them open. Pesbuk has some sort of hackish notification support if you don't let it suspend but not sure if it still works
