I am just answering to the anti-virus question: So far there is no official scan software that will manage to scan click apps for example. The one in the store was a fake, it was literally doing nothing except showing a GUI with "you are at risk" or so. Do not use it. The biggest issue was that it was running under full confinement, so it had not even the rights to scan everything besides itself. I dont really know what´s the current situation with viruses in Linux/Ubuntu. Are there proven Anti-Virus/rootkit/Malware scanners that really make sense? Never used one in Linux tbh...

@advocatux Ok. As morph-browser is one of the master pieces of UT Ubports, it will be more correct and better for the understanding !

With my Fairphone 2 I use a USB Keyboard by Logitech that also has a touch pad via USB OTG. That way, I have both keyboard and mouse, even if there is just one USB port

@trainailleur Ah, thanks for the upvote. Although I'm not exactly forum savvy so I'm not sure what all the upvote, downvote stuff is for! However, the forum is a great resource for help whenever one runs into problems with UT and it reassuring knowing that there is always help at hand when one needs it.

@Cybernaut I don't know the real explanation but I suppose that it's to avoid random people abusing the search function. The search engine is pretty limited anyway so what I usually do is to use DDG with the parameter site:https://forums.ubports.com/

I think there's a bit of overreaction to this, as if I understand correctly, the proposal is about radio firmware only (which we do not modify in UT at all anyway). However, if there was open source firmware we could use for the radios in our devices, that would be much better indeed. So the law is excessive and unnecessary. Definitely a case of the corrupt creating a law to keep the power in their own hands.
