Makes me wonder what changed because as far as I know, this wasn't an issue before. Could it be related to the big changes with multi-monitor support in Lomiri? I believe that's also when the scrolling issue started to happen on external displays

@sven said in Selling unused UT phone: The hardware specs seem to be unchanged. Only more ram and the camera changed to 64 Mpx on SE. On Pro non SE, I don't know I never saw it on french site (only GS5 and GS5 Lite, and now Lite is gone and Pro SE is here). BTW I bought 3 GS5 Lite for my family (running android, updated to 13 recently) and those are very good devices for that price range, given the bonus fact it is manufactured in Germany.

Trying to figure out what would be the significant benefits of the Volla 22 over a OnePlus 6T (8/128) running UT. Assuming I will have it running UBports and not looking for trazillion megapixel camera options, both screens are > 400 ppi, what should make me walk away from the 6T that can be had at appr. €120 (used)? The 4500 mAH removable battery (6T=3700 mAH non-rem.)?? Not intending to bash the Volla 22 offer (earliest backer), however wouldn't a Pinephone pro (linux mainline kernel) be a more obvious choice when it comes to helping the Linux community push forward?

There are still limitations in the terminal app. Not sure what reasons behind it though. You can work around this by connecting to itself via ssh.

I just tried to install the mentioned package cpufrequtils. It works as expected! Some more details. The maximum frequency can be maintained on my device for a long time - no thermal throttling or similar. I used the following command to track the frequency changes: watch -n 5 -d "cpufreq-info | grep curr"

@arubislander OK, and I thought I had a suspect for the non-operational hotspot on the Cosmo

@poVoq Thanks for the reference. I built the TTS larynx from the rhasspy project on my Cosmo Communicator. Speech output for US English and German is good and fast enough for me.

@sven said in Cosmo Communicator: installation without Gemian detour: Could somebody create a Planet subcategory and move my post and others there? That would help ... Agree

I can add some details. The LED is on and white. The device is getting warm, so in a sense it is hot spot

The following steps work on my phone: add self.run_in_container('apt remove -y makedev') to line 86 of /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/libertine/ChrootContainer.py TMPDIR=/tmp libertine-container-manager create --type chroot -i id-container You can also refer to: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/1305 .
