@totalrando Bootloader can be unlocked using MSMDownloadTool at XDA-Developers. You appear to have a T-mobile model. It has two functioning sim slots, just buy a dual sim tray. Don't know why T-mobile used a single sim tray. The OP6T image works for all OP6T models

@thousandtopics currently, we have linphone working but not user friendly to set up. The goal is to get sip in the dialer so it's all transparent to you, except you would have to subscribe to a VoIP provider. I have a list of cheap, good ones after researching many and test driving half a dozen.

@totalrando For this particular use case, I guess you can "break the system". I mean, you won't need updates and you'll run a very old kernel so I guess security is not a concern if it is then do not try this that's a very bad idea. So if it is just to tinker and do it, go ahead the easiest way I see would be to use apt after setting the partition RW. You'll also need to extend the usable space as the partition is almost full on many devices.

@arwhet I basically use my OPO for everything except video calling (one day, one day.) I really need to get the keyboard and wireless adapter going, but I use it for my calls, my files (I keep a mega account with a webapp), play the old Sega games on it (27MB for a run and jump game vs 240KB? I'm all about the space). It also does work tracking and takes my notes. Also, it's my phone. Basically I am always on it.

Instruction #1 is superfluous! You can just type in the command in #2 in your phone's terminal window and install it! @lakotaubp The OP5 was/is a great device. IIRC there are like four different active maintainers on that right now. I was thinking of dumping it as soon as my Pro1x came, but their great, rapid focus and work has enabled me to think differently about it. I will probably sell the Nexus to some Graphine obsessed person. But surely, I can't dump my trusted steed. I will keep two in my stable for sure.
