What I expected? Basically, to get a tablet that will do what I want it to do and not what it "thinks" it should be doing. Stop the screen from going black at the slightest opportunity is going to be first. I'm sorry to hear apt won't function. Will snap function?

Installing from a mac. I get this error. “ubports-installer” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. I had 0.10.0 installed couple mouths ago. Decided I wanted to try e/os. Didn't like it. Want ubuntu back but cant install 0.11.0. Ive reverted to android 11. Have platform tools and bootloader ready to go. Is 0.10.0 still available?

I'm relatively new to the forum and am looking to help with VoLTE testing and support for the Goolge Pixel 3a/3a XL. I had a post elsewhere about this, but figured moving this under the Google Pixel 3a/3a XL section would be the best spot. I'm looking for any like-minded people to see if we can get a small group to help with any testing and/or development that may need to be done. In order to help assist myself and the group, I have a couple of questions: How does one get the Google Pixel 3a/3a XL ready for testing VoLTE? What documentation needs to be read to better understand the VoLTE process and implentation? What logs need to be checked, and how can we access them? If additional development support is needed, we can cross the road at that time. The main focus is to get an idea of where we are, where we need to go, and how we can contribute. The VoLTE process is new to me, so it may be a lot of learning and trail and error on my part. However, if this can be possible, I'm sure it will make a number of people happy and allow a low-cost entry into the world of Ubuntu Touch, especially in the United States. Again, I would like to thank Alfred for his amazing work and great port of Ubuntu Touch.

@developerbayman There are services on UT... there is just no streamlined or officially sanctioned mechanism yet to describe and bundle services as clicks. Different apps implement different solutions to this problem when they require it. If the service only needs to be available when the main app is running, some apps launch the background service on startup and terminate it on shutdown. If the service needs to be running independently of the main app, then you could see the app deploying and hooking up systemd user service configurations on first run.

@kuailexs As a mature and comprehensive human, you'll easily understand that we need to talk the same language in order to keep the forum clear and easy to read, and to search on. As a mature and comprehensive human, you should understand that we, all non english native speaking persons, are making the effort to communicate in the chosen language for us to talk each other, because it is one (simple) rule here to follow. I really would prefer to speak french anywhere, anytime, but hey, as a comprehensive and mature adult I know that we can't always do whatever we want

@alagirialagiri said in what's a good minimum translation completion percentage: @doniks I want to know whether the news section , question and answer blog posts are available in weblate translation in Tamil language. There is no navigation box available as available in documentation page.i request weblate translators to provide the language transulation Navigation box for every forum .Thanking you. As I said before, I think it would be best to create a new post to maximise the chances that the right people can react to your questions, rather than burry your questions here in this thread. I don't have access to the blog

Hello big brain people! Im new here searching for answers about my tablet device Im building. The situation or better say problem is I need to have access to internet, while an ethernet device is connected to my tablet. Internet from wifi/bluetooth/LTE is automatically cut off when the usbA device is connected, acting as an ethernet device. This seems to be a problem with the "USB controlled by" always staying at "Connected device". Or is it a driver issue? I can talk to the device via an app easy, but I just need internet. Any advice appreciated. Im also very shocked that very few people know about the specifics of Android connection routing and its interaction with physical usb ports. Best regards
