@BarrickBeau I do not know much about Libertine, but libqt5gui5t64 is mentioned in a recent merge request, so this will maybe be fixed with: https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/libertine/-/merge_requests/147 So as an end user, you will probably have to wait for the next system update.

A puzzling issue is that when I see the prompt 'waydroid is stopped' in the UT command line, Waydroid is actually running, and operations within its system GUI appear to be functioning normally.

@ezst036 Quality is usually down to your network provider. Your provider may limit size and reduce quality to speed up the process.

I figured out a way to do a manual install using TWRP of an old version of UBPorts, then I can use the UBPorts installer on a phone that has UBPorts on it already. So I do not need to try building from source and doing these things. Marked as solved. I put the steps I took in the OnePlus specific forum instead of the general support area. If on the off chance anybody actually knows how to use this script, I would like to hear about it. Feel free to put the information out there.

You can also flash through fastboot using the bat files (windows) or sh files (Linux) as below: [image: 1707558719913-nomiflashfastboot.jpg] In this case unzip the zipped image to your folder containing ADB and Fastboot, open a command prompt and run it from there.

@arubislander Weird, I got the image at https://ci.ubports.com/job/rootfs/job/rootfs-pinephone-systemimage/ linked from https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/pinephone and it's the latest artifact. I did come across the proper link, but couldn't flash it because it was a .raw, so I disregarded it, didn't know you had to rename it. So glad I didn't spend another day going mad over this. It's working now! Thank you so muchhhhhhh!

@dln949 Good to see this issue is one that is close to your heart. Are you able and / or willing to dive into the issue from a source code, or from a debugging point of view to help this issue forward?

Fastboot should normally be available all the time. As already mentioned, UT is not locking anything so you should really be able to boot to fastboot and it is very weird that you can not. Other than that, the first Google result for stock rom gave me this: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lavender/ which is the site I normally install stock roms for Xiaomi devices (works on Linux too). But basically (and while I know little about it) I believe you need to have either adb or fastboot working. It is really hard to help you not knowing more information. I don't know how deep we should go. E.g. How are you trying to access fastboot? Doesn't the usual key combination (probably volume down + power button) work?

@Keneda Thanks! I found a script on: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1012/one-method-to-encrypt-home-phablet/33, which I will continue to pursue. But I haven't found any newer instructions yet. Since this is a solution almost 3 years old, I thought that there might be newer options, which may have been implemented in the operating system or created as an app. If anyone is using LUKS encryption, it would be helpful if someone would like to share it here.

A command I've found which changes the authentication method from the command line is: /usr/share/ofono/scripts/set-context-property 1 AuthenticationMethod pap The number may vary depending on which order the APNs are displayed in /usr/share/ofono/scripts/list-contexts. I found this on https://docs.droidian.org/info/apn/

@smithe To hide icons modify the desktop entries on /usr/share/applications/ or /home/phablet/.local/share/applications, and add a NoDisplay=true
