    @hlbkv gnome software can handle debs and flatpaks (and on Ubuntu also snaps I think). The app itself is a deb, so it is not surprising that it can be installed. The apps that end up being able to be installed with it are probably also debs.

    When rebooting waydroid after switching batteries it hangs on the waydroid icon ad infinitum. This is on a new GIGASET GS5 with Ubuntu Touch installed via UBPORTS as VOLLAPHONE 22. I can uninstall and reinstall waydroid with no loss of data and it solves the problem. Hoping there is a less time and data consuming solution.....

I let that sit for over an hour and reboot (hold the power key again) and it boots to Android. I am not sure how it worked for you without booting into Ubuntu recovery to install. I understand it did work, just not sure how it's possible. Edit: This is resolved for me. I reinstalled twrp and formatted my internal storage aka sd. Once done, installation succeeded without issue. I tried it. erase all, and it's work
