@BarrickBeau I do not know much about Libertine, but libqt5gui5t64 is mentioned in a recent merge request, so this will maybe be fixed with: https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/libertine/-/merge_requests/147 So as an end user, you will probably have to wait for the next system update.

A puzzling issue is that when I see the prompt 'waydroid is stopped' in the UT command line, Waydroid is actually running, and operations within its system GUI appear to be functioning normally.

@keneda said in No space left on device: He did, and someone suggested to try directly on device ^^ That was a misunderstanding. The suggestion was to check if the relevant package was installed on the device not to check if the app would compile on device.

I turned off my phone before sending dobey a UFW log file. (2022.06.11 europe) Since then I had considered whether I allowed this port myself. But I would rule that out 75% of the time. Is there no one else who uses UFW but me? I think listening ports or not. the purpose is certainly not in vain. I mean.

@lakotaubp said in Dekko 2 incoming email: Though the app is not in the OS directly so each email account used in Dekko 2 would need password plus another verification for Google to except it, if I have that right of course. Can't say if you're right, because I don't actually have a gmail account myself. I haven't been aware of big G enforcing 2FA now. Though, I've seen gmail support pages explaining how to turn off "2-step-verification". What triggered my response was the fact that I've seen old, EOS phones having to be finally retired when mail providers tightened their list of accepted ciphers. 20.04 based UT will certainly stretch the live span of some phones (if not for gmail users).

Are you by any chance using the Telegram webapp? Please consider using the native Telegram client, Teleports. It is under active development and supports sharing images to it from the gallery app.

@lifeenjoyer69 Hello and welcome. Quick run through of the channels Edge- Dragons live here only for the very experianced devs Devel- Where the latest updates get tried out and tested You can expect the odd issue on this channel. Updated daily. RC-The last testing branch before a stable release Updated now when there are real changes that need testing. Stable- Good solid everyday usage channel. This will be updated on a cycle of on average 12 weeks. (There is a new update OTA-23 on Tuesday 28th June). This system is followerd throught the year so in effect they are on a continues roll out. So you will get updates on a regular basis. So if you want small daily changes try devel it is 80-90% without issue but can go down hard. One of the great strengths of Ubuntu Touch (the OS) is the UBports Community behind it yes a few dev do get paid but the vast majority of the work is carried out by volunteers and enthusiasts. It is a very supportive, helpful community and welcoming community whatever you plan on doing or how you use your UT device. That is point it is your phone do with and use as you want. Please have a look round and read through the Forum there is plenty of info and help here. The pixel 3a is a great device (I got one a few weeks ago) so the xl should be the same. Give it a go all the help and advice you need is here.

@cerberustech If the device is not listed here https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ is will need porting as each device requires it's own specific port. Details here https://forums.ubports.com/topic/2068/halium-first-steps. Also I will move the post for now https://forums.ubports.com/topic/206/will-you-port-to-device-x

@francisco-reis UT does not run on Android 11 base it needs Android 9 at present. So no for now. Edit: You just need to downgrade to 9 or whatever and how the instructions say for the Mi A3 https://forums.ubports.com/topic/206/will-you-port-to-device-x I am getting a horrible habit of posting halfway through what I intend to type. Thanks for your detailed answers, which I really appreciate. I already have a ChromeCast 3 dongle which I used for an Android phone, and found out yesterday, that to use Chromium on PMOS has become easy. On my Windows PC, it was also very easy to mirror the screen over a ChromeCast to HDMI. I currently have VNC server connection between PinePhone and PC, but I think a WIFI to HDMI solution would be better. If I would buy a new device, I would prefer the Miracast standard, although I don t know whether desktop mirroring is as easy as with the Chrome browser. I am also positive now about LibreOffice on the PinePhone. Jacob Crume, a Robotics student in New Zealand used linux-based PinePhone daily for a year: https://news.itsfoss.com/pinephone-review/ He used four desktop environment, Plasma Mobile, Phosh and Lomiri, he spent roughly four months with each environment. He was surprised at how capable the PinePhone was as a laptop. He said he often found myself editing documents in LibreOffice. That is good news.
