@xekuta747 SUMMARY: The installation is fine (you can only install, what you get), but the problem seems to be the missing Ubuntu SDK.

What does the screen show? Recognition works normally only in recovery / adb. Does it show the usual greenish Google fastboot items?

@muskist nice. Ok, the fastboot -w command did definitely work for me... but who knows. There is another command fastboot format:ext4 userdata which should also work, but I have had the impression, that the -w command made my device boot more reliable... Perhaps "-w" does work only after formatting with ext4? Anyway, nice that it is working now.

Switching channel can indeed be wonky and sometimes show you multiple updates if you switched channel multiple times.. .

@phandersson Just some stuff you have to do to unlock the bootloader of an Xiaomi phone I have discovered: the phone must have a working SIM inserted You must have a Mi Account You must link the phone to that Mi account in order to unlock the bootloader As per usual, developer options must be enabled, USB debugging enabled and also OEM unlock enabled You can then unlock the bootloader, follow the instructions on the phone to the letter, and also follow the Ubuntu Touch installer instructions. You have to download the Mi unlock tool and run that with the phone connected (obviously).

I personally made a webapp with this URL: https://map.schweizmobil.ch (only for Switzerland terrain) In Webber I did allow GPS location and it works perfectly well. I use it to find the trails in high mountains hikes (very useful above 10'000 feet high where walk tracks are not very visible;-)

Phone : OnePlus One I have recetly installed Anbox on my phone while waiting for Waydroid to mature more. Hopefully its easy to switch over when it comes times. In doing so, one thing i have noticed is what OP os talking about. Usually what i have to do is run adb kill-server Reboot the phone and then try adb devices and that should show your device with it being online

I think it's not the image file, but the textual content of the messages itself. I catched one of the messages with the telegram-cli client, wrote it into a simple text file and sent it with cut&paste with telegram-cli to a tg account. When I then go with TELEports into the account from where I've sent the text(!!!), it blocks also. To start with your last question. No. Even if you would mount your SD card under the phablet home directory, it would still be unencrypted. What filesystem did you format your SD card with? There is a files size limit to the FAT32 filesystem. But since you intend to mount an image file with an encrypted filesystem anyhow, you might want to format your SD card as ext4.
