Hi, Finally, I managed to solve the MMS issue on my FP4 for french operator "Bouyges Telecom"! After reading these post: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/10181/fp-4-without-mobile-data/4 and this one https://forums.ubports.com/topic/10464/how-to-fix-mms-issues, I gave it another try and found a working solution for both internet and SMS. I did: Delete all existing APN settings Create a new APN setting with fields: Internet and MMS Name: Bouyges Telecom acces: mms.bouygtel.com MMSC: http://mms.bouyguestelecom.fr/mms/wapenc And keep all other fields empty. @Keneda Just giving options. He wants no maps, no camera, etc. Some of UTs phone ports do not have working camera, but most do. Pinephone and Librem, as you know, have physical switches to disable camera, etc. He could just physically remove the camera from any phone as well, although that might have unintended effects depending on how it's wired.

@AppLee Hi, did download the Source Code from gitlab and could patch it that I can build with "clickable" the app. The app runs, but the switch stop charging after limit reached is deactivated. Anybody how like to help me fix the code that the switch is active ? Did not understand why the switch is blocked/deactivated. I didn't know that was the issue before, so thank you for the enlightenment. I really want this to succeed so I will just need to get up to speed a lot quicker on helping support the development. Maybe there is something I can help with on this in the near future.

@Device You may also have to remove user _apt with e.g.: sudo deluser _apt, otherwise it might not work, too.

Well, I'm glad you have a fix, but it sure sounds painful. Wish someone had been able to find a simpler way. Hopefully this thread at least helps others with similar issues.

@Talkless OK so I've changed to download updates no only on WiFI, but always. After that I've got list of chanels, and got the update. I guess there's a bug with "WiFi" "detection" in Volla Phone X?
