@drennanelawar Luckily this one was a spare. Unfortunatly after updating to 16.04 back to square one. Also now have OnePlus One but mainly for the battery life. Edit 24/07 Have the nexus running again on 16.04 so far all ok after 14 hours and three restarts. On/Off button is now really sensitive after all the bashing. Also had to turn of all vibrations as that seemed to keep bringing up restart, switch off etc dialog box. Now also think the low battery charge was not helping (15% approx.) when I got it going, with the boot loop. Have had no issues since charge got above 30-40% with startup.

wow I am back again. I decided to go in and disconnect the batteries ( fully charged),check them and try the flash_tool. It took old Ubuntu Touch no hesitation, but nearly 12 minutes to flash it, nerve wracking. It rebooted like nothing ever happened. Now to get it back like it was

@earlybird Try a different usb port and or cable. Start the installer first then connect your nexus 5 and see if that helps get 15.04 on your device. Theres also the welcome and install group https://t.me/WelcomePlus If the above does not work. We should be able to get 15.04 on your nexus before 16.04 stable comes out soon.

@lakotaubp Thank you for your reply. I was able to reinstall OpenStore easily using the instructions from https://open-store.io/about and I was hoping to avoid the reflash so I will try your toggle suggestion and switch to the dev channel and reflash as a last resort. Cheers.

@ellypsis yes don't worry, there's even more (v.g. http://ubuntutouch.org/). All good. I believe the idea is to have separate domains for community activities, and for foundation activities, but they are kind of mix currently.
