@UBportsNews I know that its not allowed to talk about devices, but I find it worth to mention this link to the devs: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/12216/eventual-port-for-a-pixel-9a/2 because irs a quite new device and a very high version of android. So maybe someone is inspired by this to make a real port out of it.

@MrT10001 Oh, looking at that chart... It has the Android edition top part, but doesnt have the buttons, still worked on android somehow... May have been a scrapped newspaper or developer version that went into the hands of someone? This was a kid's main phone before i got it. It was in the Mediamarkt electronics bin in Terrassa Parc Vallés of all places, the bin was full, with that phone on top. Im a bit ashamed of grabbing a phone off a bin, but that gives some backstory.

@domubpkm Well, if my calculation is correct that means about 2Mbits/s, it seems quite decent for Bluetooth.

@developerbayman This post is two years old. And the OP hasn't been on the forums in over a year. I doubt they will benefit from any advice now. I will proceed to lock the thread.

@projectmoon thanks for the feedback! Auto sync: currently UT does not have a way for apps to run background jobs, an unconfined app is required. Not planned right now due to the maintenance overhead, but maybe in the future! Sharing: yeah, the app has no sharing features, its something I plan to implement soon Slowness: strange, Ill see if I can enhance the optional debug logs to better understand this and other issues that some people report with their servers Gallery: seems a limitation with the gallery app, from the file manager you can send videos and multiple files Infinite scroll: Unfortunately this being my first UT app I did the gallery in a non optimal way and now a big refactor is needed to have this. Maybe something for the future

@OtaDr Those are some interesting alternatives, too! I’ll have to give them a try (when the weather’s bad).

[image: 1777564258523-screenshot20260430_155713518.png] First day i see voLTE. . I have never see this in any chanel before with focal or noble. I'm on 24.04-1.3 RC 2 since some days. No new work has been made by voLTE UT developers. So Bouygues made probably something to make is voLTE more compatible with some smartphones.

@Lalle75 said: Hi. I got my Volla now for some hours. I'm working with Linux (Debian and Ubuntu) for >10 years now, but I cannot achieve anything on this system. Hello Lalle, I think the answers provided by UT FAQ 8 (https://t.me/UTFAQ/10) may be useful for you: "8. Can I use apt on Ubuntu Touch? yesn't [yes and no]. Ubuntu Touch is built with privacy, reliability and stability accross a wide range of devices in mind. It is crucial that the developers are able to quickly reproduce and fix bugs across devices to ensure no faulty update ever makes it to the stable channel on any device, ever. To achieve this the rootfs is read-only. This allows UBports to provide image based updates. When you run an OTA update it replaces the read-only part of the operating system. Userdata is not a part of that, so you don't lose that or installed apps. But apt is not designed for a read-only rootfs, so as a result it will attempt to write to the read-only portion of the operating system. While you can remount your rootfs as read-write, because apt is writing into a normally read-only part of the system, an OTA update can partially overwrite the changes apt made. This can result in a broken system. So using apt essentially means you are running your own fork of Ubuntu Touch. You can install apps from the OpenStore app. How to get updates is described in our usage channel. there are other package managers that are made to work with a readonly rootfs, current working examples include snap and crackle (https://github.com/tuxecure/crackle)."

@R66F root, you'd probably need to use a custom waydroid gsi with SU binaries. from there just install one of the many root modules/frameworks that let you spoof app id's
