now i can get back to deving(i think) ....i had a idea for the emulator its needs tons of mapper support ...so instead of running down all the hundreds of mapper code ....it hit me ...i live in the future .....im going to develop a sort of on the fly mapper interpreter engine for total mapper support ....i think ....thats the idea anyway ....a "just in time mapper" ....a "JIM" so to speak!

Solved .. Well.. this is embarrassing, after rebooting the computer one more time, the Qualcomm drivers appaired. Went on to successfully install the original android 10 (ver 10.5.8) (metro-t-mobile ver) then installed - "Metro - to- Global", preassembled package image of oxogen OS ver 10.5.5 .. ( no trace of Metor-T-Mobil anymore) Then tried to flash EU firmware OxygenOS_10.5.2 . Then Global OxygenOS_10.5.3 as required for UT install.. both of theas attempts failed. MSM download tool error: "Device not match image (20880)" Thanks for your info Wally, Id sure like to hear what Ruben did, ? is OS ver 10.5.3 OR 10.5.2 an absolute must to install UT .. ? @josh Otherwise, it make sense on the first UT install to check the three checkboxes (wipe, partionning and bootstrap)

@RJDan I had this problem and asked if anyone here on the forum had any suggestions. I think the answer I got was to try to open an example domain by typing html://example.com/ in the search bar on the browser. It somehow sorts things out..... but it was some time ago and I may have miss remembered.

Now I could unlock the bootloader. Windows 11 Pro didn't work. But Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon works: Open Terminal. adb devices adb reboot bootloader fastboot oem unlock (works) ubport installer worked. Thank you for your help!

@fair OSK will be disabled by default when an external keyboard is detectedm You can only force enable the OSK in this case but you can't force disable it.

@Talkless same here, when i need navigation, i use osmand+ unav and puremaps are not usable, issues with missing gps signal in app (but other apps in same time can show my location), crashing or freezing and after some application switching

@Simmonz similar behavior, but different cause I guess.
