    • RE: Restore Bricked OnePlus 6T on Linux

@hekathegreat O.K, thanks for the info.
I was flashing TWRP recovery and I already had UT on it. Never happened to me with any other phone, well, not in such a level that I can't fix it myself. I might try again to use MSM tool, but since I don't use Windows, it's rather a pain to do it. So many versions of MSM tool, so many versions of drivers to try... I'll give it another shot and then just repair shop, I guess...

      Edit:
I managed to fix my Op6t with Windows ( yeah, unfortunately not Linux.
I used MSMtool and it finally worked. The culprit was , you have to install the driver once in Qualcomm Crashdump mode connexeted to PC, then unplug it, swithch the phone off, launch the MSMtool, hold the volume up on the phone and at the same time just plug it to PC. Then MSMtool program already running, it just detect it and do all for you. Clever. I couldn't believe it. I was trying to flash the phone with fastboot for fortnight now and I just done it and I'm so happy. Phone is ok. UT is going there very soon.

    • RE: Restore Bricked OnePlus 6T on Linux

@hekathegreat Hi, I'm facing same problem here on Op6t. No luck with Linux, nor with Windows.
What did they tell you in the repair shop? What was the issue there? Corrupted partition/s?
29€ is not bad price for restoring it, better than to buy another phone.

    • RE: Waydroid for Oneplus 6t?

      @keneda I think I've seen some video Op6t running Waydroid, can't remember.
Anyway, the waydroid itself is installed and running ( from terminal output ), but there is an error, wayland not present or something like that.
If anyone has any info regarding this, please reply. Thanks.

Is there any way to install and run Waydroid on Oneplus 6t?
      Anyone tried that?

@ernest O.K. Just for info, GSI Halium 9 on Op3t, (v9) camera was working just fine ( no video recording though) , on (v10) it crashes the system. On Halium 7.1 camera after installing gst-droid was working just fine apart video recording as well. I haven't tested Ota-14 on Op3t yet.

    • RE: BlueTooth working devices with UT

@libremax maybe there should be a separate list for UT devices and Bluetooth headsets for hands-free calls as well. Just to avoid confusion.

    • RE: A message to anyone who is planning to install ubuntu touch on their phone

@pinetaco no such a thing can happen as you can't flash anything on Nexus 5 if the bootloader is locked and Ubports installer can't unlock it for you. You should know that.

    • RE: Noob with Meizu pro 5

@velo27 BT calling on Meizu Pro 5 never worked correctly. Not even back on Canonical 15.04 Vivid build. There were numerous bugs reported regarding this, but no one seems to be able fix it until now.

I heard that on Oneplus One is BT calling working correctly at the moment, don't know about other devices.
Would be great, if people share their experiences with BT calling.
Fingers crossed for someone to be able to fix this issue on UT.

@Lakotaubp see, told you so. I'm happy for you that you found a replacement phone/parts and your Op3 is working again. Unfortunately, the third party phone parts are sometimes hit or miss.

    • RE: Data connection abroad not possible with VollaPhone

@Tellina on my old Meizu Pro 5 sometimes this happens while I switch on Data roaming on. It won't work unless I reboot the phone. Also when in area with a weak signal thus can happen and it only gets to Edge or max to 3g. So it might be not specific to Volla phone.

    • RE: OP3 Help Needed

@Lakotaubp have you bought a branded OEM part or just a cheap third party replacement? I had an experience with this behaviour on Op3t. Strange, on Original Oneplus firmware it worked just fine, but on Lineage and UT behaved just like you described. Now and then the screen got light up, capacitive buttons as well, sometimes homescreen appeared sometimes not. Very annoying. Sold the phone and got a replacement. Try to flash Oneplus official firmware to test this behaviour.
