@bamboy360 thanks for the feedback. 1- This is how Unity works. There is a difference from the Launcher that from the App drawer. 2- It has been some discussion on how to simplify all the indicators... 3- Inverted portrait should work as default but some porters blocked that feature.

@grenudi You're asking nine questions... don't be surprised if only one or two get answered! It would not be fair to have one user dominate the entire Q&A after all. Then again, all your questions seem to come down to the same underlying question: why doesn't UT do things the way everyone else does things? I can think of a great answer: because others are already doing that. To be honest, I don't find your line of questioning very constructive. Are you here to help, or to hinder? Also, this thread is for the previous Q&A session.

It just happened again , I will disable any broadcast notification to see if it stops the problem. I really hope that I will find a solution because this thing will make my phone unusable...

@lauren15 said in install crash - screen locked on: on pc, "fastboot devices" says "ab0b9013 fastboot "adb devices" doesn't work That is correct. Obviously something has gone wrong in the installer. Leave it in fastboot mode and as it is detected in the PC, start the installer again, manually select the device from the dropdown box and tick all of the boxes including "wipe data". Make sure you are using 24.04.1 stable, unless you are wanting to experiment.

On the Xiaomi 6, the ofono-binder-Plugin software package must be in a lower version (1.1.15). The latest version will cause the ofono process to crash。 The specific reason for the crash of the ofono process has not been found yet

@lduboeuf Thanks, will give it a try. Hope it works on the host machine as well rather than needing a connected device because I am using it as a desktop. I read the documentation, it seems it's meant to be used for building packages for Lomiri, not working on Lomiri itself?

@Alain Oh wait, so you haven't unlocked the bootloader yet earlier? I assume only the toggle in Android?

@Pierlink_Cloud This forum is for discussions and help on Ubuntu Touch proper, so your post is bordering on being off topic. I have moved it to the off-topic category for now. Let's see if anyone can help you transition from LXDE (or is it LXQt now) to Lomiri on what was originally a Lubuntu installation to your laptop. I will say though, that the recommended way of installing Lomiri on Ubuntu is to start out with Ubuntu Server 24.04 and install Lomiri from the PPA.
