    The issue was me not having a screen lock passcode defined. Not sure if this is the best way to approach this, a settings page for editing user information (including name and root password) would be useful, that one could then opt out for the screenlock.

Since you need support, i redirect you to the place I think you'll get the best for your device : volla. I'm not a dev, just here because I love Ubuntu Touch since more than 10 years, and try to help UBPorts and community with my limited knowledge and assets.

    Thank you for your replies. I see, it's not possible to close the scope-window. I ssh'ed into the phone and killed the process, but it restarted immediately. So i don't have to worry about a desktop-background .

    This might be because my previous request to change the scaling? You can request to change the scaling by logging an issue in gitlab. @GIEMME I don't accept "ok" for my apps

    I think these experiences has been known to happen when upgrading with Anbox installed. Maybe a note about this should be added in the Anbox documentation.

    This seems to be the source for the old package: https://github.com/ZeroPointEnergy/syncthing-click I looked at it quickly - perhaps it wouldn't be hard to update, as it might just require bumping the relevant version numbers. I've never tried to do anything with Ubuntu Touch packages, so I'm not certain how hard/difficult it might be.

    On github, I've got a workaround : First, you have to put an url path like file:///phalblet@ubuntu-phalblet:~/Videos/5264921364141179419.mp4 Then, push the Submit url button (the video screen appears) Finally, choose a video with the Select file button Cheers !

    Update, finally got round to trying to import the gpx to opentopomap.org directly to morph...works! But performs very sluggishly on my N5. As an alternative, Activity Tracker seems to make trace files ok without draining battery too much and I can import other people's gpx files there too...so problem solved.

    For adb to work, you need to enable USB debugging in the UT settings. fastboot should work regardless. The only reason I ever came across for fastboot not to work was hardware, i.e. using a charge-only cable or broken USB port.
