@projectmoon The main problem that currently prevents using Wayland for electron apps, is that the On-Screen-Keyboard cannot work with GTK+Wayland+Mir1.x . By the way the Merezhyvo Browser ( popriatary app ! ) is an electron app using Wayland, but it has found it's way around this problem by coding it's own OSK inside the app itself, which is not really a way I want to go. (Especially for Signal because I want to modify the code only as strictly necessary, and also because for Signal there are other problems when it comes to using it in Wayland mode with Mir1.x). Anyway I've already tried it (see in the Signal UT topic), and reallu the best is to wait for Mir2.x, I hope it won't be in too long.

Update, finally got round to trying to import the gpx to opentopomap.org directly to morph...works! But performs very sluggishly on my N5. As an alternative, Activity Tracker seems to make trace files ok without draining battery too much and I can import other people's gpx files there too...so problem solved.

For adb to work, you need to enable USB debugging in the UT settings. fastboot should work regardless. The only reason I ever came across for fastboot not to work was hardware, i.e. using a charge-only cable or broken USB port.

It happened to me few times too. Someone called me. I canceled the call, cause I wanted to call back (I had some free minutes). Opened phone app, tapped green call button, and it started to make a call to the person I called a day ago last time. For some reasons (intuition?) I expected that the last (incoming or outgoing) number would be called as default.

@Flohack Not by fastboot, by the method mentioned in the first post, there is link to that post. But, I also flashed modem couple of times with flashable zip that contained a new/different modem firmware and by checking the modem version after that, it was changed. So, yeah, different ways of doing it.

@apost02 I think right now, in 16.04, bluetooth headsets only work for streaming media. The HFP/HSP mode is not supported by the version of pulseaudio in 16.04 with the version of bluez in 16.04. It seems to only support A2DP streaming. I don't think there is any way to work around these issues currently. Hopefully we can get newer versions of both included at some point, but it's a fair amount of work. Perhaps your issue may be considered a separate bug to this. Please open an issue on https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues if one does not already exist for your problem.

@ann_droid LineageOS instructions are "boot into fastboot, ensure the bootloader is unlocked, flash the TWRP recovery on, boot into TWRP recovery, copy the LineageOS zip and the gapps zip over if you want that, and then select the zips inside TWRP to flash to the device." I don't know what it's telling you to "re-enable USB debugging" for, but whatever it is, is something that assumes you're running Android. You don't need to mess with that.
