@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@Stefano Hi, it could also be "locked". The SIM-Card is in this state until you type in your PIN-code for this card.

May be. But me and my family we run four devices BQ E4.5 (I in person since 2015 as my daily driver) and I do not like, from the management point of view (my other family members are not Unix experts) any exotic animal in my farm. Well, the first exotic is knocking doors scheduled for next months: a real OpenSource device: the L5.

@nightshift Thank you for your help but I tried this before and it does not fix the issue. As i mentioned above, even before I install anbox-ubuntu-touch I have the issue with the camera. So it has to be something in that anbox img that causes this issue.

Hi @dobey. I hit the same problem than you and found out that I need to: Add the number to the UT contact app first In the Signal app, tap on "Import contact" Select all contact (even those who doesn't have Signal, that's the quickest way) Import all contacts: only those known by the Signal server will be imported Your new contact is there, and you can write to him. If it doesn't receive the message, reset the security keys

@nightshift Unfortunately I am only able to test on the Oneplus One at the moment, my Nexus 5 experienced a soldering iron-related hardware failure. I have a new motherboard in the mail (again, at my expense ). [image: 1566179490715-img_20190818_202004.jpg] Everything seems fine here. I wonder if the calling issues you're experiencing are related to an interaction between Ubuntu Touch, the Nexus 5, and your carrier. I can say that I used a Nexus 5 daily for 7 months on an AT&T MVNO and only missed a call when I had it muted (that is, because I was a dumbbell, not the phone). Since this has deviated from the "Please help revive my Nexus 5" topic, I'd like to ask you to open a new thread to discuss this problem. Please include information like your carrier and any patterns you've found between when calls work or do not work.

@TischlerWilly I have a similar behaviour with nextcloud... When I add my account it works fine one time, than later on the update is too fast and nothing is really updated. I found a workaround. My Nexcloud account was linked to two or more apps. Now I set an account for each app and it seems to work a lot better. Hope it can help.

@ljutica It's a bit a workaround to get notifications on signal, but it goes like this: Get UT Tweak Tool: https://open-store.io/app/ut-tweak-tool.sverzegnassi Open UT Tweak Tool -> Input Password -> press the menu -> app scopes -> Signal -> Turn on "Prevent app suspension" Open Signal, in each conversation for which you want notifications you open the conversation -> menu - > turn on notifications leave the signal app open and running the background and you should receive notifications when messages come in. It's definitely got some quirks...

@TotalSonic Unfortunately so far there are only additional issues with this: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/1192 https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/1193 https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/1194 However, maybe with the new Mir we could have some of these apps compiled against Wayland and packaged as click packages. Unfortunately though so far I was unable to run such Wayland apps at all on edge. There is probably something I am missing required but until more people are using it I am hesitant to ask how to proceed with it.
