@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@mrlen Hi, You can revert to android if you want to. But you'll need to flash it using an official image. With the bootloader unlocked you can flash other OSes available for your hardware. It includes Android.

Click apps cannot be run from Android, sorry. If your only problem with UT is the flashlight not working when taking pictures, I'm happy to tell you that this problem is solved in the new Halium 7.1 port of the FP2, by @peat_psuwit. This port isn't pushed officially right now, but can already be installed. See this topic to install the Halium 7.1 port (you will also need to install gstreamer-droid to have the flashlight working). However, please wait a few days before doing that installation, the core devs actually are upgrading to Qt 5.12 so you should not use apt at the moment. See this topic to know when things will be back to normal.

@syper Hi. I thought this video player could read 3gpp format but no, alas. I didn't find a 3gpp player working with UT. is the project to implement new formats still on your drawing board?

@nikfrager hello Nikfrager, thank you very much. I went to the link and read it. But i am not sure about the status. it seems to be too detailed for me. Is f5321 supported? or in the progress of being supported? Why is f5321 in the list of the UBports installer? Thank you very much, Matthias

I must admit I feel the same about MC Hammerhead... I have downgraded to a Nexus 4 - much better battery life. The other issue with the 5 that I have had is the on off button failing and that has put the device in a boot loop. The switches are crazy-tiny - and look difficult to replace. Good luck with your battery experiments and please post if you get a good solution.

@wlbi the download link no longer works. Is there another source? Why go back to Android? The bq aquaris m10 fhd can no longer landscape and jitsi can not use the camera.

Same issue. Maybe it was a mistake to say "unpack them"? Could it be that we should just flash the downloaded zip file as is?

@domubpkm Wipe system partition will probably delete all your data. I suggest starting with a reinstall of UT without "wipe" in the Installer.

At least another user did report the same problem, so I did open issue #85 on Github: https://github.com/HelloVolla/ubuntu-touch-beta-tests/issues/85
