The issue was me not having a screen lock passcode defined. Not sure if this is the best way to approach this, a settings page for editing user information (including name and root password) would be useful, that one could then opt out for the screenlock.

@R66F root, you'd probably need to use a custom waydroid gsi with SU binaries. from there just install one of the many root modules/frameworks that let you spoof app id's

@keneda said in How to stop and restart Bluetooth service?: some bugs on MX4 unfortunatly Sorry to hear that! On OpO, it's pretty much flawless. It really helped me when switching from Android... I felt a lot more at home (sorry, devs). And I like having an analog clock on the home screen.

@fla Unfortunately, this very useful command line (thanks again) fixes the internet but doesn't solve the problem of MMS that don't leave (spinning wheel). The APN MMS is well configured though. Should it work with this command line ? Do you have another patch to try that could fix this MMS issue (assuming that the cause of the MMS issue is similar to the internet cellular data issue) ? Thanks in advance.

So I got this freeze again. Having multiple tabs open in Morph, strange thing is that the only website that does not allow scrolling is a 2FA verified Discourse based website. On an other tab there's a Discourse based website with regular (non-2FA verified) account which allows scrolling just fine. Could the 2FA be related, does that even make any sense?

@ma said in Axolotl - no contact import or creation possible: I had the same problem today. I could not add a new contact. As a result, I added the person (only the name and phone number) manually in the following file: ~/.config/textsecure.nanuc/registeredContacts.yml Thanks to the information in your post, I just succesfully exported my Axolotl contact list from one device and imported it into another device. I did this by copypaste, using the file manager to put a copy of registeredContacts.yml into an accessible part of the file system (Downloads); I then transferred it to the Downloads directory of the new device, using the file manager of my laptop (both devices were connected with cables). Then I placed the transferred file into the ~/.config/textsecure.nanuc/ directory of the new device, and when I started Axolotl on the new device, the contact list was populated. I have described the process in a newcomer-friendly way here so that people like me can understand it.

With the help of the git project I could finally make it working. There is even for FreeBSD (Linux, I don't know as I do not use it) a DBUS command line client signal-cli and one can associate this with the primary signal client, here axolotl, and send message from the shell with $ signal-cli -u +49176xxxxx send +49....recipients-number -m 'Hello, we meet at half past six after the Corona-war in U Fleků' and the message gets send as it would have been sent from the axolotl in the mobile. Cool!

@h_b Great news (and instructive one). Can you "ask a question" and then "mark as solved" ? It's in the cog wheel menu next to the blue reply button at the top... If you have any trouble, ping me and I'll do it for you.
