      @fischer.poco Sorry, I cant help you in this case. I was assuming that UbuntuTouch successfully started after the unlock-notification.
      If the installation failed, someone else has to help, please.

      @fischer.poco Does it boot after this notification, when you dont press any button? If yes, then everything is fine. This notification is shown on every device when no g***le-os is installed. See it as a sign of freedom.
      If the device is not booting at all after this text, then something went wrong with the installation.

      @vince.vs said:

      When sending an e-mail, could we envisage, as on the iPhone or other devices, it being indicated as ‘sent from UBUNTU TOUCH’, with the option to enable or disable this message for users who don’t like it?

      You can set this individually in Dekko -> options. Go to Identities -> Signature

    • RE: VPNs don't help at all!

      @shcarl276 @moem or someone knowing: are these connection issues known to the foundation or to someone in ubports who is capable of looking for a solution? It was spoken about in the last q&a, but my impression was that the devs themselves cannot do much about it...

    • RE: Ubuntu Touch Q&A 189 call for questions

      @UBportsNews I know that its not allowed to talk about devices, but I find it worth to mention this link to the devs:
      https://forums.ubports.com/topic/12216/eventual-port-for-a-pixel-9a/2
      because irs a quite new device and a very high version of android. So maybe someone is inspired by this to make a real port out of it.

    • Eventual port for a pixel 9a?

      I contacted the guy who succeeded in installing UT on a pixel 9a to ask if this is going to be a real port. He answered the following:

      "I’m slowly working on moving my mess of local repositories with untracked changes to git repositories with CI builds so the whole thing is reproducible. I‘m hoping that I’ll find some time in the next weeks to wrap that up.

      Afterwards, it depends on if I can make the install procedure beginner friendly or not. I’ll need to look into the Halium recovery. So no promises from my side for a real port. I‘d like to see it, but maybe someone else will need to build on top of what I have."

      @UBportsNews Do things from the 24.04-2.x channel land in 24.04-1.x? And if not, what is the actual difference between these two branches?

      Where is a good place here in the forum to post this?
