Yes it is more when I am typing an email or text message.

I have noticed this as there is no "X" to click. I too have to select another tab, open it up, then go into the all tabs again and close the one I was previously looking at, which now has an "X" on it.

I think this has been raised, but if not are you going to log it in GitLab?

Yes the S6 does that also,camera functions while locked ,but no access to gallery.
She always has it set to minimum battery use, Google background stuff eats it up.

I agree that one sound would be better than lots of beeps. The whole idea is to notify the user of new mails, not to annoy them with lots of beeping if they have a few new emails.

With the notifications I mentioned, it is the bubble notifications that go down the side of the screen not the notification bar at the top.

I remember talking to @Flohack about this in some detail. I think I will have to get this one downloaded.

Yes, English is a language full of nuances and sometimes is difficult to guess the right word.

For example, when you say "you must also accept..." Is that too imposing? Sure, it doesn't sound as hard as "you have to accept also..." but maybe "you should also accept..." sounds more polite?

That's why I said it's better to be open minded and assume everybody is here to help, not to offend by default 😉

Possibly swipe right to delete and swipe left to clear down.

Not too sue what you are trying to say with this? Are you saying that you would like to get the package and update it yourself and that is why it may be going of topic?

I would not care, all I want is a fix and to be able to sue my Telegram app on my Touch phone.

I tried this last night on the M10 and it was a little slow, but still working all OK. So for me it just seems to be the OnePlus One that is experiencing this issue.

Gosh that is a bit of a worry. You have to ask where will it stop. This could be one more reason why we need to support more vpns or make it easier to use on our os.

@ukphil from what I know, each app on UT has to send the metrics to the lock screen. So, the lock screen doesn't collect message counts across devices.

i.e. When you press send on the device, it probably says to update the count somewhere in the Telegram-app code, rather than the data being pulled from the telegram server, which I'm not sure even counts your messages.

I got my Aquaris M10 FHD updated to Ubuntu 16.04 this week and wondered if you have made progress in getting PIA installed on 16.04.

It has worked well for my on my pi computers.... but I don't know if it will work for the Ubports Ubuntu Tablet.

It seems that it might work, if the operating system (16.04) is really Ubuntu linux.
