    My preferred method is when out and about, to open a draft email on whatever email client/web interface on my UT smartphone I use and add to it but not send it. Then later when I open my emails on my home PC, the notes are there.

    I am trying to clone the documentation for ubports to my phone (desktop mode) to edit locally. I have forked the docs on gitlab, I created the ssh keys on the phone (Wth passphrase) and I have added the public key to gitlab. I ran the command below to test the connection. It worked after I entered the passphrase for the key. ssh -T git@gitlab.com but when i try to clone my fork with this git clone git@gitlab.com:MyUserName/docs.ubports.com.git I get the following Cloning .... load key ... : Permission denied (publickey). fatal: Could not read from remote repository. I can clone public repos ... so it is not an issue with connecting to gitlab. Any advice?

  • Creating Ubuntu Touch apps

    I would like to try to encourage work on some apps but I can't fork out huge sums of money so it would be good if the user community could all contribute to raising some funds to pay the bounty. I thought maybe we could (for the moment) get an idea of who on the forum would be willing to put some money toward a bug bounty? The details are very very prelim at the moment but it could look something like this: We see how many people can contribute to a round of funding We decide what kind of work we can cover (big bounty, small bounty etc) We submit suggestions for an app/bug and then the contributing members vote on the app/bug We (somehow) send the money to the app maintainer and ask that they please work on these things For now, I would just ask if you feel your can contribute something toward a bounty, just give me sign that you exist.
