True, but that's the same whether or not you can see the sandbox. Personally I see Waydroid as a crutch. It's better not to need it, but it's there if you do. And if you only run Waydroid every now and then, as many of us do then most of the time you are effectively not using any kind of Android.

    Several apps in the open-store didn't work after upgrading to noble, like amazfish and ambot (works with latest update). This felt like a subpar experience compared to the xenial-> focal update where the apps in the store had a seperate focal branch and were expected to work. Why was it done differently this time?

    @zakafx Yes, thank you to all the developers working on this! That is great news! Also, congrats on this becoming closer to your daily driver! I know there is still much work to be done on VoLTE, etc. We, as a community, are currently working on this part. Once VoLTE is available, I know that will help make this a daily driver for anyone in any country that mainly focuses on VoLTE support (ex. the United States). I'm eagerly awaiting the day I can use this as a daily driver as well! Fingers crossed we can get this part working soon!

Who is the 'we' in "We Drop Ubuntu Touch Entirely"? You're making it sound as if we should care deeply, when the reality is that people stop and start using mobile OSses all the time. Just this week I helped two users switch to UT and they both like it.

    @aarontheissueguy I ask, because I would ask Signal, if there want to bring Ubuntu Touch forwards and create a version for it. AppLee told me, there reject to do it, but it was a while ago. So there is nothing to loose to give them another try.

    @lduboeuf Thanks, will give it a try. Hope it works on the host machine as well rather than needing a connected device because I am using it as a desktop. I read the documentation, it seems it's meant to be used for building packages for Lomiri, not working on Lomiri itself?
