    Hi Zaito, so sorry for delay, I have only just logged on in ages. I tested it on GS5 only - installed UT 24.04 because it was the only way to make phonecalls when 3g packed up. Nothing I did enabled Waydroid to persist. Meaning that if waydroid was closed for any reason, you couldn't reboot it without a completely fresh installation. This rectified in June with a new UT update. Everything works well in both UT and Waydroid with one exception; there is no clipboard on waydroid. Which means you cannot copy or paste anything in any circumstances. If I need waydroid copy facilities I have to use another phone running UT20.04. Hope all is well.

    @jacekrock Hi, I can see it's old question, but I just solved the issue, I hope it will help others: Default UT is minimised version, as most of the users will not use it on the level you want. sudo unminimize I found it as I tried use man command.

    @ckrnkfrnchmn the reason you see updates in the terminal using apt-get upgrade and not system settings, is because system settings doesnt use apt, apt isnt officially supported by Ubuntu Touch. You can use apt but thats on your back if anything breaks, and you may need to reinstall apps installed via apt again after certain updates, Libertine is the only way to officially use apt, but that can still be hit or miss due to relying on 16.04 repos if youre on xenial, and I dont beleive it works yet on Focal.

I am trying to setup nord vpn and I could come this far.Not sure what needs to be done after this message.Not sure if something has changed after this old thread.Uploaded cert and key files as well. Any tips or if you can put in the latest screenshots from this page on how configs should look like that would be great.     Thank you so much @jonius and the reviewers, already updated the app, restarted UT and successfully loaded the maps. In case of interest, the previous version only loaded address analysis and Valhalla and skipped Geocoder-NLP and Mapbox GL i.e. those databases flagged as incompatible version. Such a nice technology, thank you for bringing this to UT.

    @mihael Don't even bother. The app has very high security and can recognize any unofficial container. Only hope is Android Studio since it runs on a recognized Kernel environment.

    Just saw my autocorrection did a great job … I didnt mean some goes , I ment “same goes”. Anyways … Fixed it by using the voice recorder and setting it to vobis/ogg . There is also a bug which prevents the recorder from accessing the mic … check github for it. Downloading the files (at least audio files) works now for an unknown reason - but thats ok for me Great job guys ! Using the phone as my daily driver now and I am pretty happy :))

    @linuxfanche Interesting product. Technically it would only work in very limited devices and won't work as intended. So short answer no, long answer, maybe For wireless connection to work, it should be Miracast and currently compatibility is a hit and miss. Never found one that works on any of my devices. If ever it would work, input lag would likely be bad If it works well, I don't think Miracast support external touchscreen so you won't be able to control your UT device using the e-ink. For wired, only a few supports it. Top of my head - Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013, Shift phone, Fxtec Pro1 (Not Pro1-X), Fairphone 4. Then not sure if those supports external touchscreen. Most likely, Nexus device don't. I can only confirm Fairphone 4. Even with everything working fine, UT uses an external display as an extended screen and there's currently no mirror mode. Also, external touchscreen isn't working well because it is mapped to the device instead of the external display.

I did not spend much on the issue but tried some guesses like resizing terminal emulator window somehow, export COLUMNS= LINES= reset, alternative shells (mksh, fizsh), but did not find anything useful yet. What do you use to comfortably type in commands through adb shell? That is something fixed on 20.04
