@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@randomuser Ah, thank you for the link. I thought I had read all there was to read about OTA-7. Obviously not!! And now you mention it, I remember OTA-6 was staged as well; I received it after about 5 days from the first release date.

The problem is: The GnuPG needs a good passphrase, esp. in our case where the device could be lost or teft. Mine is ~8 words long and typing it with the OSK is rather a PITA. Better is using for this an OpenGPG Card, a CCID security USB token. This requires only a 6 digit PIN to unlock the GnuPG keys. It's installation and configuration will be described in part2.

@dobey Thanks for your reply. How can I test it whether there is a bug related to the proximity sensor or touch digitizer? Intuitively, the touch digitizer does not seem to be disabled.

That's strange... The curly braces enclose optional parts, i.e. /{,var/}run/aethercast/dhclient*.leases lrw, means /var/run/aethercast/dhclient*.leases lrw, and /run/aethercast/dhclient*.leases lrw, The curly braces ({}) make this rule apply to the path both with and without the content enclosed by the braces. https://www.novell.com/documentation/apparmor/apparmor201_sp10_admin/data/bx5bmkc.html P.S.: because I'm usually on the dev channel and update rather frequently, I wrote a script to re-apply the change after each update: https://gist.github.com/Ingo-FP-Angel/905c5655511435b0ded2eb354dab538b

@rvan Firstly well done and enjoy Ubuntu Touch in the New Year. Using wipe can give a cleaner install but you seem to be all sorted. Have a good nose around and have fun. You know where we are if you need any assistance.

@guru oh dear, this feature is so incredibly broken that it is entirely useless I always made my lists manually ... if you would like to see that working, please recreate the issue here: https://gitlab.com/ubports/app-dev/notes-app/issues Thanks! Edit: as reported on the mailing list the bug is already there: https://gitlab.com/ubports/app-dev/notes-app/issues/11 IMHO we should rename it.

The mouse lag is more of an issue with the wireless display than UT/Unity 8's performance. I also never got wireless display working on any of my UT devices but in my general experience with miracast (i.e. Android), it's really no ideal if an input device is involved, there's too much latency.
