@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@advocatux said in UBports installer under ubuntu 16.04 desktop: First time I read this /hdd/home/sebastian/ it got my attention too. How is your /home mounted exactly? Ah yes. This could be. Have to check with my Admin. Thanks.

@marathon2422 I suggested to go to the bug tracker because I know developers read it but I don't think they came to the forum usually.

@mv Hi. For me, BQ AQUARIS E5 HD is a very good phone and very STABLE with 15.04 Ubuntu Touch Ubports OTA 3 Vivid : everything goes virtually good except little bugs. So, as you have flashed your phone with 16.04 UT, can you say what's going well and what's going wrong presently in daily usage ? Especially, are WIFI and HOTSPOT work smoothly on this now Xenial phone or no ? I'm a user and i wants to have a viewpoint before flashing 16.04 my BQ E5 HD, now or much later. Thanks very much.

@domubpkm it seems something wrong is happening with wifi on xenial. You can see it here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+wifi Particularly your issue looks like this https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/532

@libremax Agreed. I still use my Playbook, great hardware and a really slick operating system based on QNX. UT could learn from its stylish UI design. The file-based photo app is really a joy to use. Problem is the browser is way out of date now and can't handle youtube. I've moved on and I love my UT tablet.

@lawikekurd there isn't a UT port for that device yet. Some people started to porting to Halium [1], a necessary first step, but it's far from finished. Porting is a very complex and tedious task, as you can see here [2] if you want to know more about it. [1] https://github.com/Halium/projectmanagement/issues/19 [2] https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/porting/introduction.html

@misterti one down onto the next : ) just guessing as I only have commercial email accounts, but one was POP. I did have to mess with the settings for it and did change to imap settings and now it does work as the others. So give it a try. The body text may be something similar to the gmail thing and your providers settings. lets see what happens with imap first.

@emerson edited your post to avoid linking that site Anyway, I think your issue is not related to the latest update, just some random bot added your account to its spam list, and that can happen at any time. Report that group on Telegram, and remove your account from it.
