@CatWithUT Thank you for your work it seems very interesting to me! Just a quick question: do you think it would be feasible to create a .click package and have it in the Openstore? In a similar fashion that uWolf and uFirefox does? Can we avoid libertine containers? Do you think upcoming Mir2.0 will change anything in this regard as it supports Wayland? Do you use Mobian build scripts for ARM, for signal-desktop? https://github.com/0mniteck/Signal-Desktop-Mobian/releases And also note: if we can get an initial version to build and make an UT package I'm willing to work on making patches to make the interface responsive as I have done with whatsapp web. I think this is the easy part. But we should first make a set of scripts to build automatically a binary, and then a click package that can run on UT.

@isolated-thinker If your OPO was on 15.04 the only way at the moment to get 16.04 is to use the installer and choose 16.04 dev from the options list and choose the wipe option for the best install. Yes all your info etc will go, so you will need to take a back up of your device first. You have currently updated to the dev version of 15.04 from what you say. You can stay where you are on 15.04dev if you are happy with it and you will at somepoint in the future be able to update to 16.04 directly. However the time scale for that is not set in stone at present and is at least a few weeks away.

Picking up on and adding to what @lakotaubp said: Could you go to the wifi settings then tap on 'Previous networks' and delete everything there except the AP you want to connect to at home? I'd be interested to know if that makes any difference at all for your situation.

Hopefully, as time goes on we will be able to add more and more phones to that list and give people the chance to put UT on more up to date phones. I personally have a S5 that I would like to put UT on. Not that the S5 could be classed as an up to date phone any more, but still would be nit to put it on there.

@shapley there are some issues with bluetooh currently. Can you check if the problem you're experiencing is already reported? https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues

@ds810 oh, I thought that bug was closed (sorry). Anyway, maybe you should consider to go for xenial because I think 15.04 bugs are not going to be fixed, unless they impact xenial too, of course.

@isolated-thinker probably no one replied to your question because nobody knows the answer The only thing I can tell you is that there are a lot of issues with bluetooth in UT, as you can see in "The" Bluetooth Thread.

@ublublu Ok clear then. Yes this ticket needs to be solved in order for UT to boot with a Halium port. We hope to be able to soon start working on this. It will eventually add immedaite support for more devices BR

@hummlbach said in Dekko 2 inbox issue: Is anyone of you using this "all inbox" fix and not able to delete mails? As far as I can tell, I am able to delete emails on my OPO with this fix.

Currently, it is my understanding that there are issues with Dekko and it is not working on 16.04 (if that is the version that you are running). Also with the latest 16.04 updates there are issues with the browser on some sites (keeps crashing) and therefore webapps. The Telegram app though is working currently, but there are plans to completely overall it soon. What is the exact nature of the issue you are experiencing with Telegram? Like advocatux said, what build are you on? As the above would explain the issues if you are on 16.04, if not add a few more details or replication steps.

Personally, for the Nexus I'd buy some wireless chargers and scatter them around your home/work (think I paid $15 for a 3 pack).

@danix803 I've found these instructions, I don't have a Sero 7, so read them before try it (to see if those steps make sense to you). Hold power and volume down while its powered off for 10 seconds ...if the hisense sign comes up keep holding it down until you see the screen flash and its off again and release and press it again and repeat it until you see the green android guy and then power + vol up...for 3-5 seconds until menu comes up Good luck!

@dr1445 16.04 is not out yet, and developers are working on those issues as you can see here https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues
