@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

Hi and welcome @ubportsuser For sake of keeping up with the various topic I'll lock this thread. I suggest you create a new one and refer to this one. It will avoid confusion for what might have been an old issue fix years ago. Thanks for understanding.

@hihignoki Also, AFAIK no port exists for Windows phones... There no existing procedure. Android is based on Linux so we can use the open source part of android and build around it. For windows the journey would be long and difficult I guess. So if you don't know where to start, I'd say that you will probably not be able to do it...

@nero355 Better UX maybe. I left Android for the poor UX and I'm always disappointed by Google's product. The privacy issues with Google is an important part, but for my usage I managed with changing account on each android phone and not syncing anything... My main reason is the UX

@lakotaubp The problem occurs even after a reboot so the RAM is almost free. Concerning the storage memory the phone was recently reset to defaults so "/userdata" is almost free too. The partitions "/android/system" and "/" are most used but it is the readonly partitions. Returns of "free" and "df" commands here : https://bin.infini.fr/?b9534cc1de260140#B3TQy97u2GQB8hsC5YnHAbACfN7EvUbMzHD5NN3RaJpd

@yoni said in clock reset on reboot: Phones don't have room for a CMOS battery, Hadn't thought about that, but that makes a lot of sense. Yet another area where phones differ from laptop/desktops.

@nasyek hi, this is a very old thread. You might be better served opening a new thread, as your issue seems to be different to the OP's. (We can't really know for sure, as the OP never got back to this thread)

A good behaviour I try to follow is to never directly remove an app. First I use UTTT to clean cache, config and data folders. Then I remove the app. This prevent your system to cumulate old folders. If someone have more tips that would be great

@keneda Thanks for that. Since my last message I have another log for comparison from just a moment ago when Contacts opened normally. Unfortunately Pastebin is bombarding me with cookies and advertisements that are difficult to eliminate so I refuse to use it. I'll look for another way to present the logs.

@levone1 I'm almost sold on the idea. Surprisingly there are no secondhand models for sale on Ebay in the UK, and only two new from either Germany or China. I'll keep looking for secondhand.
