@domubpkm said in Gitlab seems to work again with focal !: Hello. I noticed this morning that gitlab seems to work again with focal using morph or Sapot on my Volla 22 with the depreciated qt.. whereas it didn't work since a long time... Any explanation ? Just that they have modified their website to be compatible with old browsers

I still can’t get wifi/bluetooth, even after using the Lenovo Software Fix tool to reset to android (where wifi/bluetooth work well on it) and started the installation again from the beginning. I still have the last image of UT flashed and followed the instructions well. (+ and the command fastboot format:ext4 userdata works correctly now, no need to format through the tablet) Maybe I should try to reinstall with ubports (hoping not to back again into the bootloop problem) or use another image ? (Maybe for some unknown reason, this image is problematic for me ?)

@Moem No problem. There's bits and pieces of information scattered around, so sometimes it's hard to learn about these things.

@qnx_guy I have no specific experience with the F(x)etc, but I've had a surprisingly good experience with the Microsoft Miracast V2. It seems to only be available used though, and is expensive. Mine has latency that seems to be less than 0.5s, which I find quite useable. And yes, the device becomes a touch pad mouse when connected, though you can also connect a BT keyboard and mouse. But it does seem like most people have a less successful experience than me.

Hi @jojumaxx said in Running Waydroid fails...: Do you mean this list? I sense that you're not talking about the same list. @arubislander was probably referring to this one: https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/vidofnir/ The "waydroid" feature is shown as: Partial = Working to some extent but with issues Clicking on this link leads to the actual issue. And it's the same as the Quintus. https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/packaging/waydroid/-/issues/24 But wait, there's more; this issue is not really one, but instead it's a workaround made by Jami in order to setup waydroid on both devices (Volla X23 and Quintus)... And I hope that this is the answer you were looking for.

@vily I don't think so. Probably something that should be implemented first in the system handling notification sound playback before the app.

@ikoz said in adjustable playback speed: t should be relatively easy with a script using ffmpeg, either in Libertine or bundled in an app. The following command should work: ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -filter:a "atempo=1.5" output.mp3 Thanks you so much! It worked! For anyone interested. I first installed ffmeg in the Libertine client. Looked for the mp3 file in the folder and used the following script to run the script in the libertine container: libertine-lauch -i CONTAINER-IDENTIFIER ffmpeg -i input.mp3 -filter:a "atempo=1.5" output.mp3 Really nice! And because of this I begin slowly exploring the power of Libertine!

@Luksus Every one I have tried via fastboot, it boot loops. I haven't used the installer for the 2Gb version.

@Abba Actually Miracast works quite well on the Pixel 3a now. But it is hit or miss if it will work with any particular Smart TV or dongle. If you are looking to buy a dongle, then as mentioned before the Microsoft one is the best bet. Otherwise Sony and Samsung smart TV's also seem to consistently work.
