@haagch said in uWolf (LibreWolf): My hope for real wayland support is that it improves not rendering stuff when idle. Currently when I run uWolf and power off the screen (even when I focus another app), lomiri permanently uses 30-40% cpu and pulseaudio 15%. 00b16def-826f-477d-8885-69a1d82969f3-image.png This makes the phone a nice pocket warmer, but also sucks the battery pretty fast. Or currently, might there be a way to tell firefox to drop its rendering while the screen is off or another app is focused, like maybe "minimizing" it in xwayland? This is an Xmir problem , same result with signal desktop https://forums.ubports.com/topic/11538/xmir-lomiri-high-cpu-usage-battery-drain.

@Opolork said in Where can i highlight spelling errors on app pages on the OpenStore website?: Hi @CiberSheep. Ok. I posted to those places already over a week ago but nothing has been done. These things take time. They are volunteers like you. Patience.

@qnx_guy I don't know if there's a solution, but first step would be to report the issue, if not already reported. https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/android11/fxtec-pro1x/fxtec-pro1x/-/issues Also contact phone makers maybe if possible as they are involved in port,

The same thing happened to my OnePlus Nord N10. It got stuck at the bootloader screen after I upgraded from Ubuntu Touch 20.04 to 24.04. I solved it as @MrT10001 suggested: Started Ubuntu Touch in recovery mode Enabled Fastboot and restarted the devices. Installed Ubuntu Touch 24.04 via the installer desktop application. After that, the problem was fixed, and my device is now running 24.04 without any problems.

@bestenaizena Have you tried 'settings', 'Security & Privacy' -> 'Locking and Unlocking' -> 'Lock security' -> 'Change passcode'?

@Moktrull Yeah, sadly there's not much tablet choices for UT. I also like a tablet and for now, Lenovo M10 HD is my only option

@Pingu It works for me (on Noble), but I had to fiddle around a bit... It wasn't detected by default, but by going into the F10 boot options on the PC I tested and unmounting the ISO then reactivating it, I was able to boot the PC from the phone. Check how your BIOS is configured too.

@klh Even confined apps can be made to be exempt from suspension (via the Tweak tool). And apparently this is also currently the case for XWayland apps. This is a bug, no doubt, but something to be aware of nonetheless for now. maybe the thread should be locked for new replies Good idea!

@bestenaizena Because you need to "ask a question" before. Then you will be able to mark it solved directly or by choosing a post as the solution.

Ok I found a solution that solves the headphone problem. Using nano, I add "rate=48000" parameter in the module-load line in /etc/pulse/touch.pa like this: ###Automatically load the Pulseaudio Droid .ifexists module-droid-discover. so load-module module-droid-discover rate=48000 voice_virtual_stream=true hidl_args='helper=false' .endif then I restart pulse with: systemctl --user restart pulseaudio.service I make rootfs writable with UT Tweak Tool (v1.0.0) Now wired headphones work properly! Thank you All
