@domubpkm That's the site I was looking at. Under "android9plus" there are all the devices listed. And for almost all of them the last build is from 28.11.2024. But before there was a new build almost everyday. I'm on devel with my volla and make updates normally around every two weeks or when there are some interesting merges. But for now, the last build is almost a week behind.

@kristatos you can try "Unified hosts file" by Steven Black, is updated regularly, currently contains 154,586 entries (only 4,5 MB) or one of "31 different host file variants " ... info e link to hosts files here

@chris_bavaria I use SIM1 only for cellular-data and SIM2 for calls/messaging. Because of the slow activation of the cards (SIM1 is ready maybe 10 seconds later than SIM2), mostly SIM2 is switched to be the cellular-data card. That's really annoying.

@domubpkm I've tried this and switched from stable to devel and back to stable again but it doesn't fix the problem for me. Also on devel the video recording was not functional. Maybe I'll reinstall with wipe option to see if the problem still exists. Edit: Reinstall with the installer doesn't bring back recording. Only running through the installer with "wipe"-option brought back video-recording. I don't know what exactly was broken, but now it's working again Edit2: @mihael I found out, that it has to do with the cache (~/.cache). I don't know which cache exactly, but it's easier to delete the cache than reinstall+wipe the phone. The only app that doesn't seems to like this is dekko (you have to reconfigure your E-Mail-accounts). But you can try to save&restore the cache for dekko instead of deleting it.

I recently installed UT on pixel 3a and yes battery drains way faster then it did don't android, May a future update will fix this issue.

@kristatos I think these are long standing issues especially in some devices. I experience it more often with bluetooth. I usually just reboot when this happens. Not sure if there's a better solution.

This is probably an issue with Volla. I don't encounter this behavior on the Fairphone 4. In FP4, the problematic one is bluetooth.

@Flohack I think you had the right idea. The last couple of days I closed all opened apps before shutting down the device and there was no crash/restart of lomiri. So it could be that the issue is depending on the lower amount of ram. I will observe this behaviour. Thanks.

@Stefano Hi, it could also be "locked". The SIM-Card is in this state until you type in your PIN-code for this card.

@kristatos I don't remember the precise details, but I think the update got published too early... I think it needs OTA-10 for it to work, or something.

It's working again. I don't know what was the problem but I solved it this way: Installed an old 15.04 UT-Image with the SP_Flashtool After that the phone was able to start again Upgrade from 15.04 to 16.04 (OTA-9) with the latest ubports-installer Device was still able to start After that everything seems fine again Thanks for helping.

I've done the following steps and it seems to work for me: Charge the phone to 100% until there no charge indicator left Boot the phone to bootmenu (where you can select recovery, fastboot, etc.) Leave the phone in this bootmenu until the battery is empty (in my case this took 8-9 hours) Charge the phone until there is no charge indicator left After these steps my E4.5 lasts almost as long as it was new and the percentage shown in the power-management shows the correct values again. I hope this is a long-term solution.
