    Hi Zaito, so sorry for delay, I have only just logged on in ages. I tested it on GS5 only - installed UT 24.04 because it was the only way to make phonecalls when 3g packed up. Nothing I did enabled Waydroid to persist. Meaning that if waydroid was closed for any reason, you couldn't reboot it without a completely fresh installation. This rectified in June with a new UT update. Everything works well in both UT and Waydroid with one exception; there is no clipboard on waydroid. Which means you cannot copy or paste anything in any circumstances. If I need waydroid copy facilities I have to use another phone running UT20.04. Hope all is well.

    @lakotaubp ADB seems to be the method of choice during any tutorials on various things. I also had it working on my 3t in the past, i'm just not sure why its not working anymore

Note that deb packages use xz compression nowadays that is not supported by UT's tar. So extraction of the binary has to be done on a device with a more recent version of tar. # Download armhf deb package of tcpdump. There are newer package versions on the server, but those may not work as easily because of further dependencies. $ wget http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/pool/main/t/tcpdump/tcpdump_4.7.4-1ubuntu1_armhf.deb # Extract deb archive. $ ar -x tcpdump_4.7.4-1ubuntu1_armhf.deb # Extract binary. $ tar -xf data.tar.xz Now, move file usr/sbin/tcpdump to the UT device (via adb, ssh, cloud). Then switch to a terminal on the UT device. # Make the binary executable. $ chmod +x tcpdump # Watch all DNS queries on the device. $ sudo tcpdump -i any port 53 Then wait and see. (Tested on OPO OTA-16 RC/W09).

    @antidroid Thank you very much. I keep getting the device is inlocked and cant be trusted. Loops in reboot from the Sony screen to the linux reboot screen. I downloaded the sony rom to flash it again and start over. There were a few technical issues as expected. I was not able to get it back to factory. Will keep trying. Thanks again!

Back later bysy for awhile now. EDIT:Nearly forgot check bootloader is unlocked though it may well be on the N5 also the installer may do it now too. Thanks for the memory jog. After following the steps outlined in your latest post, installation went smoothly. I believe the installer did unlock the bootloader. I appreciate the ubports community. Being Google free is what freedom is all about!

    @povoq Probably related to leap/non-leap year and maybe in combination with DST and timezone. I also have daily alarm and I remember them waking/pissing me up that day :grinning_squinting_face:

    I can replicate this so my guess is that the theme isn't implemented properly within the app. The content page remains white even with suru dark selected.

    @jjconstr No I didn't have any cloudstorage. I switched the motherboards and had it like that for almost a year. I bought new digitizer+screen with red frame and a new red backcover, so the phone is red now and I swaped back the motherboards after I repaired the broken one.

    @fla Unfortunately, this very useful command line (thanks again) fixes the internet but doesn't solve the problem of MMS that don't leave (spinning wheel). The APN MMS is well configured though. Should it work with this command line ? Do you have another patch to try that could fix this MMS issue (assuming that the cause of the MMS issue is similar to the internet cellular data issue) ? Thanks in advance.
