@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

I've just tried transferring files on Manjaro, works fine both ways, so this is Antergos specific. I had similar problems with my printer.

Tonight, I discovered that the problem with my tablet with ebay was because for some reason it was displaying the mobile site. Previously the M10 had always displayed the classic site which worked fine on the tablet. So I looked for a way to switch it back. I found that if I scrolled right to the bottom of the mobile site page, there was tiny clickable classic site emblem. Clicking that control immediately switched the display back to classic mode and everything worked smoothly without any insecure connection messages. In any case, on the tablet, classic mode is superior as more information is displayed. I hope this information will be helpful for other M10 tablet users.

@wgarcia said in uNav on N5: @chdslv I'm using unav and another tracking app (Activity Tracker) and in both GPS works as expected in a Nexus 5 16.04. Same for me - no problems on nexus 5 except it still takes some time getting first GPS fix

@custello said in How to download and install Apps from OpenStore via CLI?: Funny fact: The index.html file has exactly 6.53 MB (what would be the same size as Dekko's .click package). Maybe wget just renamed the downloaded file as index.html? Thanks to @Ingo's knowledge, this is partly true! wget will ignore the response headers, because this is an experimental feature at that time. Therefore wget uses a standard name for the downloaded file, and this one will be a classic index.html. @dobey said in How to download and install Apps from OpenStore via CLI?: The --allow-untrusted is required, because by simply downloading a click directly, you are missing the additional metadata, and are not verifying that what was downloaded, is trusted. Okay, thanks a lot! So the final (working) command should be: wget https://open-store.io/api/v3/apps/dekko2.dekkan/download/xenial/ -O /home/phablet/Downloads/dekko2.dekkan_armhf.click Afterwards: pkcon install-local --allow-untrusted /home/phablet/Downloads/*.click

My goal is to use the phone as a server (a fancy RPi, yes). My current system is running on an old laptop and I was wondering if I could replace that with a Nexus (as it also runs Ubuntu). To my surprise it does a great job, sticked to the wall it makes a very (scratched, but) very cool thermostat. The only thing is, should the device reboot for whatever reason, someone must start apps and services manually.

Finally it is working! Thank you very much for your awesome help guys! What I did? Resetted the whole Ubuntu Touch device to factory defaults (probably some Dekko fragments of UT 15.04 have been hanging around) Installed a virgin Dekko from OpenStore Setup all user profiles one after each other Finally the wizard also displayed the magic page where one can specify server settings by hand. This page has never appeared before... Furthermore, I see the message "Your acount has been set up successfully" or something similar after completion - that also did never happen before... Thanks a lot for your kind help!

Hello all, It has been a while since I installed UBports on my OPO and it has been running fine for me. The only problem during (or after) the proces of the installation was that the phone wasn't recognized anymore by neither my windows- nor my linux desktopcomputer, allthough this has'nt been a problem for me using the phone on a daily basis. Last week I installed OTA-5, which worked flawlessly, by the way. Today I decided to plug my phone into my computer, running windows in this case, and to my surprise the phone was recognized as 'bacon'. So the little problem I had has been resolved. So, no questions for help this time, but just to let you know. Thanks for all the great work done so far with UBports.

@ksalver it reboots the device or just unity? On a related note, krillin has only 1GB of RAM so you need to be careful with how many tabs you open Tip: Installing and enabling uAdBlock helps too.
