@danfro Use our CI, install it with ubports-qa - I let most of the stuff be built via CI, completly avoid crossbuilder.

@flohack In general I'd agree, but from my understanding CB is/was opt-in - one of the reasons we got an SMS based emergency alert system instead of using CB here. But I don't suspect a government project of doing proper research, so it wouldn't surprise me if the info in the documents was wrong

@applee I believe your phone has UFS Storage ?! Ofcourse it's not SATA SSD or NVMe SSD but it should do the job just fine! About the buses and bandwidth I am not sure at the moment... It has been a while that I have seen the schemes and details of those SoC's

@hobanwashburn You came onto this forum, and created multiple threads and a comment in an already existing thread, basically ranting about how UT is not a traditional Linux distro, and telling us what we should do. So yes, that is "stomping in." And here you are attempting to refute by doing more of the same. There is documentation about how to contribute with development. There are chat groups. Developers actively help people. We have places to open tickets about issues. So clearly, you didn't even take the initiative to attempt to contribute. Legacy apps aren't going to work well on a phone, and in many cases even with an external dislpay and mouse/keyboard, it will still be an inferior experience to using those apps on a real PC, even if everything was working perfectly on the UT side.

@keneda More likely I did not try hard enough when I first got the phone so I gave up as it was unimportant. The update prompted me to look again, and though not intuitive I have created a few albums for the 18 photos I keep on it.

@domubpkm Yeah, I can try to check that too. It can be annoying at times I would guess it's in the inner and lower level codes though so it may not be easy for me

@cibersheep Well I suppose this will need to be a one step at a time kind of thing. Once a half decent guide for one language is set up then surely it shouldn't be too much trouble for people to translate it later.
