It turns out it was a wrong setting in the APN: it was "internet" but it should have been "broadband". I got the correct settings from https://apn.how/romania/telekom-ro

Now I have data roaming. Thanks again!

Tested AetherCast today with Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter (first version) and it actually works very well, no matter what apps were used.

Yes, that could be a good idea.
But I'm not sure if any device has autofocus working...
But that's not a feature I need as I always select my subject so get the exposition required.

@messayisto Oh good! Doesn't fix whatever the underlying issue is, but better than nothing. Hopefully it just keeps working for both of us. 🙂

Friends, this thread ends in the wrong category. I'll get the ZenFone in a couple of days. Hope it will work ok. I found one for a fair price, the 4 GB version. I think there are more 3 GB models out in the used market. It also seems to be a rare device here in Europe. In the end this monster battery and the memory card slot make the difference for me. And of course the FM radio. Hope the FM app will support this device some day.

Through evtest I can monitor /dev/input/event2: tri-state-key but then I don't find something similar anywhere in gsettings... I am stuck here and any hint in the right direction would be much appreciated!

Hi everybody.

I'm happy to announce that I managed to flash my OnePlus 5t with the astonishing and lovely good working piece of Open Source Software that Ubuntu Touch actually is.
I experience the following bugs:

volume of any sound on the Device is very low whenever I try to hang up a call, the phone app crashes. I have to stop the program from running while the call continues, then I am able to hang up after I start the app again.

If there is anything I could do to help with more testing, please let me know.

@lakotaubp Well, it clearly told me just this weekend that I did need to install and use TWRP manually. So it sounds like the instructions inside the installer are running a bit behind the awesome reality.

@moem Yes. All safe to use.

@doniks I tried pairing UT with an office TV screen which is prepared for presentations, it was not possible. I suspect the protocol i snot 100% the same or idk.
