I’m not complaining; the Brax3 is a great phone and IodéOS is a great AOSP. I hope the porting can continue (the latest image didn’t allow the phone to be used for making calls).

Just for info the "daily" version of UT is not for daily use, but for testing frequent updates (daily updates). So be aware anything could break (or get fixed ^^) after any update. Stable is for daily use.

it will have to basically be a hack UT's confined nature does not allow block usb writes ...yet ...im hoping to change that with "workspace" ....i actually have a iso writer app ready to go already built ....just does not work because UT confinement

@MrT10001 Oh, looking at that chart... It has the Android edition top part, but doesnt have the buttons, still worked on android somehow... May have been a scrapped newspaper or developer version that went into the hands of someone? This was a kid's main phone before i got it. It was in the Mediamarkt electronics bin in Terrassa Parc Vallés of all places, the bin was full, with that phone on top. Im a bit ashamed of grabbing a phone off a bin, but that gives some backstory.

@R66F root, you'd probably need to use a custom waydroid gsi with SU binaries. from there just install one of the many root modules/frameworks that let you spoof app id's

For what it's worth, this bug should be solved in 24.04-1.3 (no need to apply a patch script: the sense that the placeholder does not remain open in background anymore). It could still be a nice fix to avoid that it uses a lot of CPU in the first place, as it could possibly allow for faster starts of the apps.

I tried to upgrade the QML libraries & openLayers to latest version, but uNav continues to freeze... This happens from focal.

Just FYI, there is a new 24.04 port in progress for OP6/6T. The porter says it is almost ready. Ports for Pixel 4 and 6 were never finished. There is also a new halium 12 port in progress for p3a. You can test it now. Instructions are here in the forum.

@Teasy Hi and welcome to the forums. You can try the update path through software updates on the tablet. The other way requires a Windows PC, the Lenovo Software fix Tool, the devices serial number and a USB cable to attach the device to the PC.

@flohack Hello, Last year I had to reinstall Android for some months and I used LineageOS. This Android version allows you to run the selinux commands without the need of Magisk. It allows you to run adb shell commands as root with a simple checkbox in the developper settings. I was happy to discover this possibility with LineageOS as I had already restored my data on the phone

I've figure it out that entering 'selection mode' with a long press is precisely what I was looking for. Would still be useful to somehow start the terminal on selection mode and hide the 'Exit selection mode' option

Nur als Info. Aktuell ist der OP8T port "auf Eis gelegt". Der lief zwar recht gut unter Focal, aber machte echte Problem mit Noble. Da Focal quasi vom Tisch ist, macht es wenig Sinn einen Port dafür offiziell zu veröffentlichen, der nicht zukunftsfähig ist.

@Stefano Hello! I've had my phone for a few years now, but it's been sitting in the drawer for a while. I couldn't put the Ubuntu system back on from the Flyme system. But now I finally did it and thanks to you I now have the "latest system" on it I'm happy now! Thank you very much! It's true that it won't be for everyday use anymore (I'm using a 6-year-old Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus on it), but I'm glad that I managed to put Ubuntu on the Meizu

@pe3noATo2DOTpl I gonna try to port to the n8000 too but I need to wait for an new motherboard because my old motherboard had an nand failure because of this post I know porting is what I want to do as an hobby thanks everyone who came to this post btw
