The raspi(s) would receive the OTA updates. I already looked into Mender SWUpdate, RAUC and they all seam promising. I would actually just like to know out of curiosity how UBports handles OTA updates.

@gpatel-fr Sad! OnePlus usually had superb hardware for the price. Well, at least there is a decent lineup of OP phones that can still be ported.

(The setting in the menu to wipe the database does not actually do anything, and will be removed).

I think he's saying he wants to forward SMS from his primary phone to his UT phone - Which I know you can do with VoIP providers, but don't know any cell carriers that will do that, with the exception of T-Mobile. They used to have a feature for that. Don't know if they do now.

This data is useful only if UBports complains about the blockage. My hosting provider did and it fixed the block to their site.

@gpatel-fr Thank you, that worked well! You should just download the updated file and run ubports-installer -vv -f vidofnir_esim.yml in Linux

@kan-ibal I also wanted to try the geoclue provider, but I didn't find a .deb/apt package in UT 24.04-1.x to install geoclue 1. That's why we only tested geoclue 2. (I tried to make it work also with the remote provider, without success)

@peat_psuwit This has fixed the problem I had upon updating to OTA-11 where I stopped receiving incoming SMS, and reflashing with the installer did not fix it. Fantastic news for me, though I don't know of any others who had quite this issue. This update also brings VoLTE and 5G to Oneplus Nord N10. I made my first VoLTE call ever in UT! I haven't stumbled into a 5G zone yet to test. SMS, MMS, mobile data are all funtioning perfectly so far. Everything else is functioning as normal too. I'll post again if I run into any issues. Thanks so much to everybody who worked on this!

@mango as far as I know Dekko2 is the only local client for UT. I don't use it but I tested it and with a few wrinkles (see issue) it seems to work. I don't see why Aol mail should be a problem since it seems to work with Imap/smtp.

I watched it and although it was interesting, it needed a software for Java runtime which seems to be specific for SailfishOS and doesn't exists for UT. Newpipe also separates backend and frontend codes so it was easier to do. Not many apps does it the same way, sadly.
