Yeah, that seems to be a known issue with some system messages not being fully localized, even when the main language is changed. It looks like that “No text message sent today” line might be hardcoded in English or just missing translations in certain languages.

To be fair, this is a very valid use case. I've wanted this right from the start since if you use external keyboard and mouse, you won't need the virtual one so the screen will be useless. In Samsung DeX, you can do this although I noticed that some apps wakes it up when doing certain things. In any case, there's no way to do this right now. It might need changes to the lower level components such as Mir. Also note that unlike Samsung DeX, UT is using the same UI or DE when connected to an external display so anything you do on the device would affect both displays.

@kuuga What OS are you using for your host PC in the installation? If ADB cannot see the device, especially when the phone is in "fastboot" mode, with a windows host, this is probably because of missing google android drivers. On a Linux host, the command line tools from google should just work as-is after extraction. (In my bumbling around I used both.) @jojumaxx Same issue with Vollaphone22 with dual boot (VollaOS and Ubuntu Touch on the SD-Card). I've never head before this problem with previous version (till 2024). I tried to unmount and mount again UT but the problem still remain. Black screen

@journeyman09 Pegasus seems to target Android and iOS. So not a threat for Ubuntu Touch. But even if it were, you would have needed to install it yourself, or have run / installed a click package from outside the Open Store.
