Updated. Still no notifications on teleports and cinnyUt, but therefore the endless counter of dekko in the launcher is fixed. Have some issues with the switch between 5g and LTE, sometimes I have to go into flightmode to be on the internet again by mobile data. Today - so a few days after the update - uAdBlockNG stopped working, emptying cache and a reinstall didn't work. Before and after the update I sometimes do not hear it ringing on the other side. I have the impression that battery drain is less than before... Headphones via usb are working now!

The Nokia 6.2 with Android that i have lasted 1.5 to 2 days on a single charge with the same basic usage. Ubuntu Touch is secure because it's a immutable OS, it's already privacy focused and doesn't have anything to do with government censorship and surveillance at all. There are already web apps available from the Open Store and you are able to create your own. I get the impression you didn't use Ubuntu Touch yet and didn't read any documentation or info about what UT actually is. Maybe it's time you gave it a try and learn about it.

Solved by first updating to 20.04 OTA-11 and than upgrading to 24.04-1.1

@theprivacydad I guess you would have gotten a much better experience 6 months later: and that's an unfortunate coincidence that your testing/review happened just few days before some of the major needs (Signal, KeePass) were released to the Openstore , and some of the issues you mentioned is just about to be addressed: like modern and stable web-browsing. Anyway you will always be welcome to do an update or a new review in few month/years!

@pparent I have installed VLC in Waydroid and it works great so a native app would be awesome.

@undrwater it depends on the kernel, hence on the particular port for your phone/tablet, more details in this post

@uxes That is a great program, but I heard that ATL relies on GTK. Which is not integrated into UT. And besides, list of supported apps is limited compared to Waydroid.
