    On September 27 at 14:30, Bitlair, the hackerspace in the Dutch city of Amersfoort, will open its doors to members of the UBports community and all those who are interested or curious. This will be an informal meet & greet with plenty of opportunity to see and try devices running Ubuntu Touch, talk to (other) users, ask questions and just hang out.     @theprivacydad Snap packages are still work in progress and they will hopefully get better support in the next version (noble 24.04). I think upgrading to Mir 2.x in Q2 2026, could maybe fix a lot of graphical bugs. Under the current stable version (focal 20.04) you can already try snap packages out with Snapz0r from the Open Store, but a lot of them will probably not work. I think it is more a proof of concept for now.

    It would be good to have some clear advice to non-developer on how we can encourage work on stuff that we felt was needed. Maybe the OS development should not be guided by ad-hoc money waving from the community, but if we wanted an app to be ported or if we needed a bug to be dealt with, it would be great to know how we can nudge some development in that direction. This should not be an alternative to supporting UBports directly but it could be a way to supplement app development. Maybe the first question should be: What is the UBports developers choice of platform for bug bounties? How should be let the developers know that we want something addressed and we (the community) will organise the bounty.

You could try power off and later power-on the device over bootloader (power+volume-up) but before you do that you have to swtich into flight-mode. Good luck! Additionally you could delete systemsettings cache &settings-data with ut-tweak-tool Thank you. I accidentally figured out another way: after I managed to get wi-fi to work as expected, I left the wi-fi on before turning off the device and next time I power the phone on, wi-fi works. In case I experience any problem, I will try your advice. Thanks again.

On my FP4, mobile data does work. Hotspot, however, is confirmed to be broken (at least in password-protected case).
